I am the gr. niece of "Adm. Ed" and would be glad to take over the maintenance of his memorial. I added the names of his parents today. You did a great job on his memorial and I have even more info and photos which I would like to add.

His nickname really was "Mick" as attested by this excerpt from a memoir of him.

I have heard CAPT joe Taussig, his son-in-law, refer to him by this nickname. I think that he was of Irixh ancestry which may explain the nickname. A check of his bio in the the class of 1916 Lucky Bag will confirm this as does the USNA Register of Alumni

Memorial# 6610493Admiral Harry D Felt
His son Donald Linn Felt was my Naval Academy classmate. I added a link to Harry D. to Linn's memorial, which I maintain, as his paternal link. Somehow a paternal link to Linn was submitted for Harry D's memorial to make Linn his own grandfather. I looked up the parents of Harry D. as confirmed by his Wikipedia biography and submitted the correct parental links just now.

Find A Grave Memorial# 7037

Would you be able to "copy" your photo on this memorial page and post it to the memorial page of his wife at:

Find A Grave Memorial# 124120948

as her name is also on his stone.

Thank you!

Your redundant entry for Adm. Edward D. Taussig
It appears you may no longer be active on this site, since I emailed to the email address you have listed months ago that the memorial you created for Admiral Edward D. Taussig is both redundant of the "important person" entry for this person and also inaccurate since Taussig is buried at the Naval Academy Cemetery in Annapolis, not Arlington.

Admiral James L.Holloway Jr
Are you also the creator of the memorial for his son, Adniral James L. Holloway III? I visited it earlier today but now it does not appear in response to a search. His son James L. Holloway IV 1946-1964 is buried in Section 7 Plot 1586 according to the cemetery's burial index and the parents are listed in the same plot although the stone has all three names, and only birth dates for the parents. The Alumni Association obituaNO James L. II is still alive.

Admiral Thomas Cassin Kinkaid
I had his name speeld Kincaid, so could not find him, and was goibg to create a memorial to propse as famous (he was, indeed) I finally got the visitor center to tell me thathe is in section 5, plot 82, after they corrected my spelling. think that as a famous person the Find A Grave adninistration will take over his memorial. I was ready to post the first couple of paragraphs of his Wikipedia biography, which is very large. He graduated from USNA in the lower half of the class of 1908. During WWII he commanded the 7th Fleet under Douglas Macarthur in the SOUTHWEST pacific theater. He commanded the amphibious forces at the Leyte Gulf landings.
