Scatter me not to restless winds nor toss my ashes to the sea Remember now those years gone by when loving gifts I gave to thee Remember now the happy times the family ties we shared Don't treat my resting place unmarked as though you never cared Deny me not one final gift for all who come to see A single lasting proof that says I loved and you love me.
RE: souders Sorry , I thought maybe you were relaeted to the Souders family that is in Carrol County and could maybe check a tomstone in the cemetary. Thank you though I have all the information. I was looking for someone to check a small tomstone for me. Thank you, Charles Souders
John S Pfundstein Thank you for the added info on Mr. Pfundstein. I added him because there was a photo request for another Pfundstein located next to him, however, he is in an unmarked grave. Since it is for Lisa Link who never says thank you for photos retrieved, I didn't waste my time taking a picture of the grass. Makes me laugh. Hope you are well. We need to catch up. I haven't talked to you forever.
COTTA thanx so much for the info on the chas cotta son. i did have his first name and mid. initial but no dates outside of year. i created a booklet on charles cotta. he was a pioneer in our little town of lanark creating the first steam automobile with 4-wheel drive. rumor has it that he was buried in his steam-mobile. i want to get to rockford and bring my camera to photograph his headstone along with his family members for my ancestry.com tree. thanx again Mr.B !! cheers, tommie
Reply Mr. B Thank you for the message. In response to your comment, I added the Kellerhals, Nolte, Foens per request of E. Nolte. She is a good friend and she thought it may clarify a fact about her mother. Her mother actually was listed on Find A Grave as being buried at Shawver cemetery, which of course she is not. Had explained and requested to the contributor, but there never was any response. I had never added anyone to Find A Grave that was still living prior. I do however, know that it is done. Have seen it done in a cemetery as soon as someone purchases their lot and has a stone erected - while living.
No, I am not related to all whose obits I submit. Some are relatives, old friends and some just obits I find while searching for others. I am on the Pioneer Cemetery Com. locally and we are specifically working on some that we hope to eventually compile a booklet. Attempting to find as many obits and info on deceased as can. In searching old records and newspapers, I come across many others. Would you prefer I not submit them to you? I know some contributors do not add such. I certainly do not expect you to transfer to me. If someone is dear to me, I will ask you to consider transferring . Thank you and hope to hear fro you.
