Bio

A HUGE thank you to everyone that photographs and posts grave marker pictures. What a wonderful thing it is to document and preserve the historical record. (Note: I have seen a few photos taken where someone has used some sort of chemical cleaner on grave markers....please, please, please do not do that. The only thing that should be used, if anything, is water...and no scrubbing tools.)

Findagrave is first and foremost a grave registration site. If a memorial has the correct name in the correct place, with a correct transcription of a marker, then the primary goal has been met. I generally do not like posting obituaries on my memorials (especially recent ones--reasons of privacy and copyright). A simple bio is preferred.

I do have responsibilities outside of findagrave so please be patient with me. Thank you.

-----------------------------------------------

I have been working on my and my husband's family history since 2003. It has been very interesting finding details about our families that have been "lost" for generations. I am related to a majority of the memorials I have made. If you think we might be related, please contact me so we can share information and pictures.

My direct maternal surnames: Baird, Brandow, Carew, Delahanty, Dudley, Fleming, Kilduff, McClellan, McDonald, Miller, Northrup, Ostrander, Pepper, Sherman, Simpson and Squires.

My direct paternal surnames: Bowles, Burgess, Champlin, Creveling, Drake, Ellis, Evans, Hill, Isaac, Larimer, Lloyd, Martin, McFarland, Palmer, Paul, Reese, Richards, Roseberry, Seavey, Slack, Tomlinson and Yarnall.

My husband's maternal surnames: Bowden, Brooks, Davis, Foster, Hall, Harrington, Jones, Lamfers, McElroy, Peterson, Quillen, Rogers, Trueblood, Walters, Withers, and Wright.

My husband's paternal surnames: Beardsley, Bennett, Cook, Franz, Ham, Hopcraft, Howgate, Jones, Lyon, Martin, Millington, Morris, Parker, Rahmer, Rutledge, Skeath, Stevens, Weber, and Witchey.
