I've been adding older memorials in my area over the winter months and plan to go out, find and photograph them when it warms up. Any information you have to add to any of my memorials would be appreciated. I search the old newspapers for old obits. and also look up the death certificates, as sometimes the obit. does not give specific birthdates, parents, etc...this information is not always correct, but if it is there, I will list it and make a note where that info. came from. If you want me to add information or change anything, please list your source.|
I have no problem with transfers if they are not related to me.
Any of my headstone photos may be used anywhere you'd like, I only ask that you give me credit for the photo.

I agree that it is strange. I have examined the census image many times looking for a clue to no avail. One of my Strike cousins had a copy of the memorial message from the funeral dated 1905, so with the photo of the memorial, I'm sure that is the correct year. Yes, the census was Franklin Co., Guilford Twp., District 0019, pg. 41 of 44, dated May 13, 1910, taken by Harry H. Schwartz. Maybe he asked men about their wives without ascertaining if they were still alive.

Thanks for the photo of my 2x great-grandmother's memorial. I have changed her date of death to co-incide with that in the picture, but still cannot understand why she appears in the 1910 U.S. Census with her spouse and children. Some questions are never answered. Debbie Whaley

I was curious if you had made any headway on the Zeger family history.
If so, contact me via email.
