I have been working on my family tree since 1997, but only recently (2004, when my dad, Melvin, passed away) have I been working on the headstone aspect of my family tree.|
I have been working mostly on my Mom's side, with the surnames of Schweitzer, Woodworth, Etgen (Etchen is the original name with Etgen and Etchey being run-off of the name), Werling, and Linder. I have done some work on my Dad's side, with the surnames of Paige, Hemenway, Moyer, Lowell, and Schoonover (Van Schoonoven).
I enjoy going out to the cemeteries and taking pictures of the various headstones, so requests are always welcome. And have taken it upon myself to enter all the memorial for Lyman County, SD to include photos of the headstones (just be patient as I don't live in Lyman County, but 1 county away).

thanks for the transfer
Hello Joseph, thank you for the cool picture of Forest. I so appreciate seeing family members. this is my husband's 1 cousin 2 times removed(the wife). If you don't mind I will share it with my sister-in-law.
Thanks, Nancy Berntson Berntline@gmail.com
|Judi Schoonover||RE: David Walker Schoonover|
Hi Joseph, I have looked through my records and I have to say I have no idea where "Earl" came from. I have been doing this for 16 years and I am very careful of putting info in my database that is not correct. I only use family trees to verify what I have or to research what someone else may have. There are a number of family trees out there that have "Earl" as a nickname on them. But I didn't use any family trees as my sources on David Walker. If I figure out where the info came from, I will let you know. Sorry for the trouble. Thanks, Judi Schoonover
Thank you for the photo of Lester's marker. I greatly appreciate it!

Hi Joseph. Thank you so much for the photos of the Raberns in Presho Cemetery. I know the effort it takes to photograph and document stones, so I appreciate your willingness to help! Thanks again...keep up the good work!

Hi Joseph! I just met your Aunt Gloria on ancestry.com and she suggested that I take a look at the work that you have done on findagrave. You and my husband Court are 3rd cousins 2x removed on the Paige side. It's nice to meet you :)

Apologies, must have been one of my late night excursions.
I made a few corrections but now must wait to see which ones take. Some of the necessary changes may have to be made by other contributors.

I would ask that you transfer two memorials to me (they are my husband's parents). We can add links and bios to complete the page.

I am so very pleased that you responded so quickly with the photo of Lila Mae Drake's stone. This little girl was one of several that her parents (My great grandparents) lost. The story of this family is quite tragic, and it is important that I, as a descendant, remember them. I truly appreciate that you took the time to visit Lila and get her picture.
