Campbell-Rittenberry Cemetery in Campbellsville, TN
Hi. Mary Bob McClain, who has been a tremendous help to me on several occasions, referred to you about a bit of information on the memorials of Alexander Campbell and Margaret M. (Margaret McErwin Thompson) Campbell at the Campbell-Rittenberry Cemetery. (The memorials are #61663460 and #61663486,and belong to Mary Bob.)
The statement in question is that Alexander & Margaret had nine children. I can only account for six, but I have noticed that the extra three, usually unnamed, have crept into some people's ancestry trees. Alexander and Margaret are my great-great grandparents, so I'd like to pursue the truth of the matter. Would you be willing to help me out with your knowledge of the children besides Mary Matilda, Margaret Ann, Martha Caroline, Hamilton Crockett, Robert Newton, and Laura Etta?
Much appreciated,
Beverly

The Texas death certificate gives the name of the cemetery as Presbyterian Cemetery, in Ladonia, (Fannin County) Texas. I concede that Death Certificates frequently may contain errors. I recommend that in the Bio Section, make mention, give credit, reference the website showing grave markers for this memorial. Also, the death certificate should be given credit for data not shown on the marker.

I transferred your 3rd great Aunt to you. The only thing I woul suggest is if, next time, you would like someone to transfer a Memorial to you, please include your FindAGrave ID Number! I had to look it up to transfer Sarah's Memorial to you. Take care & God Bless!!!!

This is what my brother has to say; it strikes me as likely, but if we are connected it is through my mother, rather than my Dad.

I took a look at historylover4ever's profile page, and one of the family lines she lists is Martin. I then checked the FindAGrave links back through Mom to James Martin, and historylover4ever has put flowers on each memorial in the chain. Therefore, I'm pretty confident our link to historylover4ever is through the Martin line.

The info I have on her is the same as what's on her memorial. My info on most of the Tinsley's that are not in my line comes from Joe Downing & feenerty.com & Find A Grave.
My in depth research was only on my line and the first Tinsley's in VA in the 1600's.

Contat Mr. B.H. Upchurch 903-396-2355. He is the president of the cemetery association and he can tell you more about the cemetery book.

From Cousin Sarah
I am so glad that I found you on Find A Grave! Please feel free to email me anytime re our Earnest relatives (jobi0618@knology.net). I visited George and Rose's home (2001) in Hanover Co., VA at the kind invitation of the owners, who are not related. I have also been to Louisa Co., VA to do research on two occasions on the Whites, but I am no longer able to travel due to my husband's health issues.
