I am a 54 y/o Afro-American from NY (obviously, this photo is not how I look today). The reason why I joined Find-A-Grave is simply b/c I cannot get out to the cemetery in Linden, NJ to visit both my mother's, father's and grandmother's graves as often as I would like b/c I don't own or drive a car. So the only way to show my love for them is to put virtual flowers on their graves. I'm glad that this site is here and made applicable for all to use, to bring whatever bit of peace to our broken hearts. And yes, my heart is broken, but I believe my parents and I will meet again one day in Heaven. Thank you.
