I have an unique style of grave photos --
1) Close up of name in gravestone
2) Close up of gravestone
3) Overall of gravestone + grave
That way you can feel closer!
Plus, if i notice someone related to the person u ask me to shoot, I will take a chance and shoot it. Be that of a infant, spouse, child. If it is within the same plot, it gets photographed.
If you want the photos emailed to you, Let me know and I will be happy to do it.
** Notice ** Every week, 1 or 2 days, I do a full cemetery run of over 250+ miles, trying to fulfill requests in the Atlanta, Georgia and surrounding cities - 15-20 cemeteries/run ** If I travel out of town, I will make an effort to stop at a few cemeteries to handle your requests.
** Updated 8/9/12: I have suspended graving due to economic hardship but will still grave when I can. **
** If I claimed a photo request that YOU would like me to relinquish to you, please notify me first and the reason. (Doesn't mean I will release the claim) I claim requests usually because 1) Its a cemetery i frequent 2) Its a new cemetery that Ive never been to and want to check it out! **
** If you want to give me a challenging assignment - finding a lost cemetery, a lost grave within a cemetery, tricky directions to get to a cemetery, I will meet all challenges!! Just send me email and see if I can handle it. (Ive gotten a lot of emails challenging me to find some graves -- my success rate so far is about 85%. Believe me, Ive had some grateful people!!!!)
If you really want to say thank you, how about sponsoring one of my memorials that I create here? You're supporting FindaGrave and allows them to connect people with their loved ones. Its only $5 a memorial. =)
** For those of you who want permission to use my photos, have at it. I hold no copyrights to any of the photos that I take. **

Ran across it on Facebook. https://www.facebook.com/574987519223360/photos/a.575001362555309.1073741828.574987519223360/737852106270233/?type=1&fref=nf

Are you familiar with this area, or with the story behind the iron gated area? Appears to be no monument there.
I visited Magnolia Cemetery this weekend and what I found was so heartbreaking. Many of the stones were pushed over or broken, and even though the grass was cut, many of the grass stones were covered or almost covered with bermuda grass. There is no telling how many ground stones were invisible due to a little detailed weed eating.
I was not able to locate the grave I was hoping to find.
The sign identifying the cemetery is no longer there.

I am going to try to get a cousin of mine to go with me soon to try to locate my great grandfathers grave. Thanks for all the info.
Have a good day.
Hopefully, they will be more helpful for a blood relative.

How recent were you at this cemetery. Is it terribly overgrown? I was hoping to go in search of my great grandfathers grave someday soon. Sounds like I will definitely need others to help me.

Good Morning Scott.
Well, it will be awhile, I am going thru some treatments for all the time I spent over exposed to the sun. Have three more treatments and they keep me out of the sun for several days.
Take care, Bud

Would you consider transferring the Maddox memorials to me, they are my mom's family. My FindAGrave info is as follows: Catherine Ford Brown (#46872931)
Thanks for your consideration and also for all the time you have dedicated to FindAGrave.

Cemetery is located off of Browns Mill Road (Hwy 212) Dekalb County. At the intersection of Browns Mill and Klondike coming from Rockdale County take a left on Klondike. Continue on Klondike about half mile, and you will see a entrance to the Electric Company on your left, turn here, fence is open during regular office hours (this road is not marked in maps). Continue on road. Road will vere to your left. Turn just before office, right, and continue past the office (on your left) buildings, under power lines. Take your next left and go up the hill. Cemetery will be on your right, fenced area, not far off the road in a cleared area.

Thank you, I will try that.
