Bio and Links
Bio Photo Click on the tomb for more info. I've been seriously interested in family genealogy for a long time. If I've added memorials to non-family members it's because I was there and had a camera while looking for my family (I'm a grave walker). Some markers catch my eye and I must photograph them. I try hard to capture the Veterans when I find them...because they deserve it. I'm not interested in building an empire of memorials for the sheer sake of numbers so I'm more lax over turning them over to family than Find A Grave's rules. If a relative is closer to you than me I have no problem turning them over. If they are at all relation to you and not me then just ask, tell me your relation and they are yours. I try not to add recent deaths too quickly, doesn't allow friends to post their friends memorials (I don't look at the Obits each morning first). I'd like to thank the volunteers who have brought me photos from far away, you are wonderful. You may use these photos for any non-profit reasons (, findagrave spouses, etc)
I've been happily married for 40 years to a wonderful woman who keeps me in check. (I need to be kept in check.) I'm a NRA Life Member (gun enthusiast), from bull's-eye pistol to BMG, a certified PADI SCUBA Divemaster, Extra Class HAM radio operator and 4th dan Judo black belt. I wish I could fly, parachute, play an instrument and dance but I can't...or haven't yet. I also make a mean breakfast!

RE: Lawrence Spencer
He's 4th cousin 1xR to me, so not a direct but still my family, but I'd be happy to become his caretaker. I'm hoping to find his place of death to update too.

Thanks so much,
-Jeanne #47847520

RE: Stremsterfer
There was a Charles Stremsterfer buried next to her. I created a Find A Grave Memorial for him, as he didn't appear to have one. There is a photo of his gravestone on his page.

Olivia Black Elk-Pourier
Memorial #65269642. Received your suggestion about this lady. The obituary said she is the grand daughter of Chief Ben Black, and I believe the obituary is correct. Chief Black Elk (1863-1950) would have been 64 years old when she was born. He had a son with the same name born in 1899. Benjamin Black Elk (the son) died 02-22-1973 at Manderson, SD.

I am 64 years old and from South Dakota and remember seeing Ben Black Elk (the son) being photographed with the tourists at Mount Rushmore.

This memorial will not be changed. Where did you get your information that supports your belief?
