Bio and Links
Bio Photo Click on the tomb for more info. I've been seriously interested in family genealogy for a long time. If I've added memorials to non-family members it's because I was there and had a camera while looking for my family (I'm a grave walker). Some markers catch my eye and I must photograph them. I try hard to capture the Veterans when I find them...because they deserve it. I'm not interested in building an empire of memorials for the sheer sake of numbers so I'm more lax over turning them over to family than Find A Grave's rules. If a relative is closer to you than me I have no problem turning them over. If they are at all relation to you and not me then just ask, tell me your relation and they are yours. I try not to add recent deaths too quickly, doesn't allow friends to post their friends memorials (I don't look at the Obits each morning first). I'd like to thank the volunteers who have brought me photos from far away, you are wonderful. You may use these photos for any non-profit reasons (Ancestry.com, findagrave spouses, etc)
I've been happily married for 39 years to a wonderful woman who keeps me in check. (I need to be kept in check.) I'm a NRA Life Member (gun enthusiast), from bull's-eye pistol to BMG, a certified PADI SCUBA Divemaster, Extra Class HAM radio operator and 4th dan Judo black belt. I wish I could fly, parachute, play an instrument and dance but I can't...or haven't yet. I also make a mean breakfast!

RE: Adam Smith
You are welcome Mark. The wall is next to the Illinois river below Marseilles Dam and the sound of the running water is peaceful.

Thank you.
Thank you for sponsoring the memorial for Adam Smith. That was a very kind thing to do to honor his memory. I also appreciate the headstone photo that you posted.

Center Hill Cemetery
Thank you very much for posting some of the pictures of the tombstones from Center hill cemetery, including Dorothy Scherman and George & Willie Metz. Center Hill is one of my favorite cemetery and it is nice to know that other people are visiting this cemetery.

Thanks, Nancy

Harol Hill photo request
Hi - I'm sorry, but this photo request at Oak Ridge Cemetery will be impossible to fulfill without plot info. And, any idea of the year of his death? You will need to call the cemetery office at 217-789-2340 to get plot info. This is a 365 acre cemetery and over 75,000 burials, so as you can imagine, there is no way to even guess where he might be. I'll be happy to look if you can get the info. Thanks in advance.
