Thank you for the transfer, however I am not an active find a grave volunteer so I am transferring it back to you. I found his memorial unexpectedly and just wanted to let you know about the misspelled name. Thanks.

No, your statement was wrong, I did not create a duplicate and I added Charles' mother's name 'Rose Joerger' to the memorial, in case someone else found her grave-site. The 'JOERGER' name was incorrect from Brenda Darbyshire's memorial, not mine, and that was the reason it was not found, whenever I did the initial search. I always search before adding memorials, but I cannot help someone misspelling the name and them telling me that I misspelled it, which I did not. Brenda did. I do not need someone watching over my work and making statements on situations that they do not understand. I had already contacted Brenda, once she had sent a message stating that I had misspelled the name and had duplicated her memorial. I personally don't care about who has management of the memorials. I try to find family members who will accept a transfer and give it to them. So now, since I told Brenda that her spelling was wrong, she has corrected the name to create the duplicate, but again I do not care who has the management of the memorial, my concern is the information and photos that I add for the families, and F-A-G members.

When you get the chance to send me the pictures of your aunt Lois I would "dance at your wedding" if you could email them to me at firstname.lastname@example.org
Hope your shoulder is doing better...we have been praying for your speedy recovery.

Thank you for the transfer. It is appreciated.
|Carrick-Na-Maxwell||Ok I see|
You did put a date after all.
|Carrick-Na-Maxwell||You are off line|
Great, would help if you put a date so we would know when you are off line beginning or ending.

I don't know you, but I do not like the threats you send out about duplicates, etc. In many cases you do not know what you are talking about. The reason that I added Charles Joerger to Oak Grove Cemetery is because whenever I searched , his name did not come up, so I added it and the other family members I also discovered. Now I find people trying to remove my memorial, because they have now gone back and corrected their name that was incorrect. I am from this area and not just adding memorials, but also obits, family members, and photos. If you think F-A-G will ban me, so be it. But I think you should also be banned for trying to be a busy body, whenever all we're trying to do honor our families and friends and not just someone who adds memorials and doesn't even know they have misspelled the individual's name or have any additional history for that person. In the future, I would ask you not to contact me for anything, associated with your work. I will continue doing the best I can. I can see you're just after numbers and not the true spirit of what Find A grave is all about.
|Colleen Sanders Brown||RE: Obit for William Manry|
That's fine...I understand and I do realize that this is the "guideline" but I also feel that as long as it is stated where the obit was found...and it was a public site or publication...that it is okay to share it and no copyright infringement...as long as the source is documented...just like with a paper you would write for school or a book...as long as your sources are noted I believe it's fine to share but I also understand those who would rather follow the "law" so it's all good! Thanks so much for responding and letting me know. I randomly came across it and thought I'd share for others doing genealogy searches and I'm not related. I appreciate the heads up and you have a most wonderful weekend and happy "graving" :)
|Gerri Fraterrigo||RE: Parker, Laurel Hill Cemetery|
As per your request I removed my initial tribute and have removed the dates, which were already in the find a grave information about Annie, so I am not quite sure why it was offensive.
I have re-worded it and hope this meets with find a grave rules. WHere might I find those rules? Is it a new request? I have added things similar in the past and no one asked me to delete it. I really enjoy the sight and didn't intentionally break any rules.
