If I manage the memorial of a family member or friend of yours, I'll be pleased to transfer. It's so exciting to find things you are looking for! :)
It annoys me when people here hoard memorials like their personal property - like a kid with a huge box of candy they won't share. ಠ_ಠ You know the ones! These memorials are the property of Find A Grave. We are just caretakers.
I am *always* happy to transfer, except when the person is my own relative (and no one is closer) or ones I have a special interest in. Even those I will pass on to a relative. I have even transferred to non-relatives with a special interest in the deceased. If you have a ton of memorials and you manage a lot more than add, you might want to think about why you're on here are all.
A note on PHOTOS: I give my permission to use any photos I have taken for your own use or for another site.

Re: Erie St. Cemetery...I was told the following: "Unfortunately, a majority of the markers in Erie Street Cemetery are either not there, or are so weathered they are unreadable. Any grave that had a marker that was readable has already been uploaded to their respective memorial pages on Findagrave."

I checked with her, and have permission to post her photos and add the names. She said, "I definitely didn't know how physically and organizationally demanding it would be when I started, but that made it all the more satisfying...The idea was to get the information to the people who want it, so go for it.
