I don't know why, but I have always been interested in graveyards and the many different types of headstones. It seems everytime time I pass a cemetery in my car, I slow down and take a peek.|
I am mainly interested in the names Agee, Best, Bondurant, Copeland, Elliott, Fernandez, Fonda, Kaufman, Laur, O'Hara, Parker, Pippin, Snell, Van Gelder, and Williams. All decendents [at least by name]. But I will also post memorials on friends and distance relatives.
When I post a memorial, I try and give you references where I found the information. However, if I find the information such as cemetery listings while doing research on the names I mentioned above, I will post those also [without the reference], even though they may or not be related.
If you find errors in my posting, please feel free to provide the corrections, but please provide me a reference and Email me that reference. Of course photos are always welcomed and if you would care to sponsor a site, please do so.
Also, I do not care to accumulate memorials just to have a lot of numbers on my profile. If you are a direct family member, I will be happy to transfer any memorial. Please provide me your relationship.
Also if you are interested in obtaining photos at the Manila American Cemetery and Memorial, Manila, Philippines, here is how you obtain those. I was there recently and I talked to them about photo requests. I talked to the receptionist named April dela Virgen and she said they are happy to do that for you and the will send you a .jpg file of the grave or memorial. You can email her at email@example.com or others at firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com.

Thanks so much for posting this and the accompanying bio. Mary is my fourth great grandmother, and while I knew my direct ancestry, I was not aware she had remarried. I live near Sparta, so I will now be able to visit her gravesite, whereas previously I wouldn't have known to look for her as Anderson. Thank you so much for adding a piece to my ancestry puzzle. <3
|Robert HAUERSPERGER||Elijah L HATCHER (1829-1916)|
Just a small correction about his date of death.
As writes on the gravestone, it was May 25, 1916.
Certainly a small typing error.
Best wishes from France.

Thank you so much. I do appreciate it!

I will do that! Thank you so much
|Marilyn Hatcher-Thomas||Charles Aaron Hatcher|
Hi Jack: I would like to ad some info to Charlie and Era Hatcher and found that they are listed under your name. Charlie is a brother to my grandfather and had a daughter to pass this past Friday. I would like to have her name added to Charlie and also there is a son that passed several years ago.. if you could add him also, I would appreciate it very much... or if you would like to just turn them over to me that would be great. Charlie's number is 43647390... the daughter to be added is Glenda 167704452 and son is Charles 59670301. If you would like to turn them over to me, my name is Marilyn Hatcher-Thomas #48316996.... Thank you very much.
|Patricia Smith||Clarence Lee Keaton Husband of Levie Bondurant Keaton|
On Levie Bonderant's #47040750 Memorial page you state that her husband Clarence Lee Keaton died in St Louis Missouri. Do you know where he is buried? He is a distant cousin of mine. How about their daughter Fern?
|Ray Marks||James Milton Robb|
Thank you for posting the information about James Milton Robb.
I am his grandson, Ray Marks.
I am sitting with my mom and there are a couple corrections that she'd like to make.
He had two daughters, Jannis Dollie Robb, and Allison Glenda Robb (my mom).
He was in the Bilibid Japanese Prisoner Camp, not Hospital.
There is a rumor that his body was recovered from sea and buried in Manila but we have not been able to find proof. If there is any way to find out that would be incredible.
We'll look up his birth date and let you know.
Thank you once again!
|Melinda Culpon||Charles Kenneth Dosch|
I wanted to thank you for the lovely memorial to my dad. He was cremated. His ashes were scattered and some buried at Salona Cemetery, Bowie, Montague County, Texas.

|Brandon Rowe||Emily & Ephraim Dougherty|
Thanks for accepting my corrections on Noah and Noble Dougherty. If you wouldn't mind, I would like to manage Emily and Ephraim Dougherty's Find a Grave pages. They are my 2nd great grandparents. If you would prefer to keep them, I'm going to assume you're a descendant (in which case, it's great that you're managing their pages!), so I'm curious how we're related? Here's my relation to Ephraim & Emily. I'll list spouses in parentheses following Ephraim & Emily. You can follow this tree through Find a Grave links through to my grandparents. My parents are listed as survivors in my grandmother's obituary which I unfortunately wrote just last December.

Clara Ethel Dougherty (Milton Monroe Young)
Olive Lorene Young (Beuford Newton Rowe)

|Jackie||Frederick T Spring|
I am a cemetery hound like yourself and recently invaded Spruill Cemetery on Spruill's Bridge Rd in Creswell, North Carolina. There I found your Frederick and Ruth Spring, near her mother and father, and made new memorials before I found yours. I can delete mine if you want to transfer yours to Spruill Family Cemetery, and can add my photos to your memorials if you like, just let me know. Thanks, Jackie
