Hello everyone, my name is Lisa, and I enjoy cemetery hunting in my home state of Florida. Long time advocate for cemetery preservation and recording the history of cemeteries in the US and Canada.|
Currently I am researching and gathering information from cemeteries in Volusia County Florida, Western North Carolina, Eastern Tennessee, Northern Kentucky, the Western area of Virginia, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Vermont and New Hampshire. If you notice a mistake or have further information you would like added to any grave I have added PLEASE let me know, I will be more than happy to change or add anything. I am also happy to transfer listings to family and friends who want to keep them up to date.
I have a lot of time on my hands at the moment. This also gives me a lot of time to research pictures and travel to cemetery's. Please keep it nice when you comment to me. I swear I'm a nice person.
If you are a family member or friend who would like the listing transferred to you please use the edit tab on a memorial to leave me a message. I will respond to you as fast as I can, but no later than 1 week if I am on another work project.
I'm really not picky about who I transfer a memorial to since I am not related to most of the people in the memorials I have added. I don't really follow the rules for transfers on Find A Grave and would much rather see someone who knew the person maintain the memorial.
If you are sending information to me to add to a listing I am more than happy to add anything you want. Same rules apply as before that I will update the listing as fast as possible but no later than 1 week.
If anyone has pictures of some of the stones I have posted please feel free to add them as this would be an amazing help. If you want to add family pictures do that also. The only thing I ask is that midi files be kept to the comments area if you want to leave that.
Any of the grave pictures I've taken and added are free for you to take and use.
If you are requesting I take the picture please let me know if you have a general idea where the person is buried if it is in a large cemetery. If you don't that is ok too, I can get the info if I need to.
I hope to talk to other people out there about the fascinating worlds of history and genealogy.

We are involved with a group clearing the overgrowth from this cemetery. As we identify markers I will add them to the interments. We have found a few graves that are not listed and I will add them and the markers as I have time.

That would be great, thanks!

Do you have GPS coordinates for this cemetery?
|Dale Niewoehner||John Miller Burial|
John Miller, the first Governor of North Dakota is NOT buried in Forest Hill Cemetery in Duluth, Minnesota.
He is in a mausoleum in Dryden, New York with his wife and two children.
There is another John Miller at Forest Hill, but not Governor John Miller.
It would be good if you would remove this listing to not cause any more confusion.
I have just recently spent a large sum of money on the restoration of the tomb in Dryden, New York.
Governor Miller died in Duluth, however.
Dale G. Niewoehner, Niewoehner Funeral Home. Rugby, North Dakota.

Thanks for transferring my Aunt Norma's Find A Grave memorial to me.
|Russell Clemings||Rhine Cemetery, Gallia County OH|
The photo for this cemetery is credited to you:
I will be in that area late next week and wanted to see if I could find the cemetery. However, I can't find it on the map using the description on the above page: "Located in Section 25 on the north side of 160 (old Route 35), just across from the junction of 588. There are broken stones and a footstone."
I can find 160 and it appears to be in the right section, but the only 588 I can find is several miles to the south of there and does not intersect 160. Both highways end up in Gallipolis.
Since you must have gone there for the photo, can you provide better directions?
Hello...you sent me an edit for Peter Coykendall's DOD. His memorial page indicates a DOD between will signed and will proofed...if you have documentation of a death date, could you please let me know where you found it and I would be happy to add it. Thanks so much!
