A little bit about myself and my research. My name is Karen Mahon-Lorentz. I am 33 and have been working on my family's genealogy for fourteen years. I have always loved history and I have an insatiable thirst for knowledge. Genealogy provides a constant challenge and excitement in my life. The most direct lines I am researching are.....Maternal Lineage: Welch/Ellis/Stump/Stumph/Chase/Horn Paternal Lineage: Mahon/Matthews/Crow/Henderson/Carr/Blaney/Crane/Triplett (I have more information about my father's side of the family because they are knowledge seekers much like myself) My husband's maternal Lineage: Harmon/Haught(Hopefully more to come soon)My husband's paternal Lineage: Lorentz/Cramer/Kramer (Hopefully more to come soon)My husband's paternal lineage has been quite difficult to work on due to a lot of roadblocks. We have traveled to Lorentz, WV where his direct family is from, and have discovered names, without a direct connection. If you have any information I would deeply appreciate it!
