|5th Great Grandson of George & Elizabeth Faulkner||# 18006569 Agnes Collins|
I am wondering if you can provide any detail on where the information came from on this memorial? It looks like there are two different stories and sources. I am hoping to find out more information about the parents of Judge Lewis Collins and, I appreciate any help in advance.
|Mary Ann||Bessie Case Jewell McLean|
This was my grandmother. She was married to Oswald McLean of Mt. Sterling, KY. She was the mother to six children. Mt. Sterling court records and family members have confirmed that Bessie was placed into the Asylum because she filed for a divorce from my grandfather. The Judge was cousin to her then husband Oswald. He granted the divorce, removed her children from her custody and forced her into the Asylum. My grand father then dropped all of the children off at an orphanage in Lexington, KY. Some were adopted - some disappeared. I never met my grand mother, nor did I meet my grand father. My father had contact with two of his siblings only.
Children of this couple: Lewis Hensley McLean, Oswald Trimble McLean, James E. McLean, Jaunita McLean, Raymond McLean and Kenneth McLean.

Thanks ....I was able to save it from the memorial.
I have found that he and Maggie had more children than just Ella and Frances. When I find their burial info I will add them and link to Samuel. Will do the same for Maggie. The other children that I have found (on census records and Kentucky death records index on family search) are Anna Belle (Died 1922, no DOB),Ida Mae (no DOB. DOD 1924),and Henry L. Just thought you might want the information!

You are much welcome!! Do you happen to have a copy of Samuel's death certificate? He was my 2nd cousin 2 times removed and I am looking for death certificate for the tree!

Why do you have a picture of a Welsh marker on my memorial? I do not believe it belongs there

Thank you very much.

and the children names. The reason I say this is, when I was very young I remember Gabriel G Banks, and remember my grandmother saying many times, Gabriel' mother died when he was very young, which was incorrect Gabriel would have been 18 yrs old when his mother Denisa Lawson Banks died. My grandmother and Denisa were 1st cousins. My grandmother was 24, living in Wolfe Co, KY., when Denisa died, and would or should have known when & where Denisa died as grandmother' father (Denisa' brother) was still living in Wolfe Co.
The children of Denise/Deshia Lawson & William Harrison Banksare as follows:
Guy Cortes Banks born 1887, Wolfe Co, KY. Died 1980, Washington Co, AR.
Gabriel Conklyn Bansk, born 1892, Wolfe Co, KY. Died 1972, Morehead, Rowan Co, KY.
Simon Peter Banks, born 1894, Wolfe Co, KY. Died 1970, Rhea Co, TN.
Thank you so much for all this trouble you've gone thru with me in getting the correct info on Denisa Lawson Banks...You are a God sent for helping people like Denisa with correct family info, that they will be remembered
