---------- Rant:Plopped and burial unknowns ruin the integrity of the Find A Grave database. Too many people work very, very hard to get things right. Do some more research or ask for help before plopping or creating a BU.

please remove your record of my father hi, i'm hoping you'll remove your record of my father (http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=161346940), as i would like to manage my own record for him and my family.
RE: Olegario Soliz 37572932 Please add his rank (PFC or Corporal) as this is customary for those that were KIA even if he is buried in a national cemetery. I have seen some listings for KIA with the rank T/5 or Tec5 added (probably in the First Name field and perhaps on older listings before pre-fixes were added?).
Technician Fifth Grade (Tec 5, T/5) was actually between Private First Class (a rank that was around in WWI) and a Corporal/Specialist (E-4, a rank also around during WWI). The technical grades were T/5, T/4, T/3 and were sometimes "temporary" ranks. T/4 was between Corporal and Sergeant and T/3 was between Sergeant and Staff Sergeant. A T/5 received the same pay as a Corporal. https://wwiitracings.wordpress.com/about/u-s-army-rank-structure-during-wwii/

Gen. Omer S. Dews I added your picture of this grave to my personal Reunion genealogy program. It's a very good picture. Thank you for all your hard word for findagrave. Sharon Agee Morrow distant cousin of Marguerite Bennett Dews Arlington, TX
Hettie Rose Tilley Cunningham Hello - I see a picture request for Hettie mem: 147226032. I have checked with the Devine Evergreen Cemetery records keeping person and she has been unable to confirm the location of burial for Hettie in the files. Do you by chance have this information? Or maybe who she would be buried by? It would be very helpful so I can proceed with taking a picture of her headstone. Thank you! Rita
# 37572932 Tec5 Olegario Soliz Tec5 Olegario Soliz was KIA. All military members who were KIA should have their rank attached to their name on their memorials. This designation signals to "commoners" that the person died in combat (or as the result of combat). This is kind of a pet-peeve for me because I have a lot of family members who have served in all branches and one known who made the ultimate sacrifice. Unfortunately, Tec5 is not on the list of Prefixes so the closest thing is TSgt. I am currently adding KIA Mexican-Americans to my Virtual Cemeteries and so having the rank attached to their name tells me that the person was KIA and I can add them. Please add the rank to Olegario Soliz - he deserves it. Thank you.
