Bio and Links
Bio Photo I currently live in Brenham, TX. I have ties in the Lubbock area, where I am more or less "from". My family tree extends to many parts of Texas and the US South. On my paternal grandfather's side, I have ancestors from Ohio and Pennsylvania. My overall ancestry is predominantly English.

Please make requests via the EDIT TAB on the individual memorial, then use the fields available.

If you are asking for a TRANSFER, please state briefly your relationship to the deceased. I am not a stickler for guidelines in this matter.

Please DO NOT send corrections or transfer requests via public message. I will delete such requests from this page and will again direct you to use the edit tab.

If you need to send a generic message privately, use the correction field for the memorial of the Z-L Ranch Cowboy and I will get back with you via email if yours is shared. (Please flower too!)

RE: Beiser
You are welcome Ms Amy....I have the other Beiser pictures you requested but have not posted them...the stones are heavily weathered and difficult to read I had hopes of returning and possibly taking a better photo..
I can , if you desire, post the pictures I have and possibly post better pictures later..

RE: Lucile Lehrmann Stern #63171438
Dear Amy,

Thank you so much for all the research and links you have made for Mrs. Stern's family.

Just typing her name brings a smile to my face. I always wanted to be a 4th grade teacher like Mrs. Stern. I did not become a teacher, but my daughter is, and is touching the lives of children just like Mrs. Stern did mine.

Thank you for extending the offer to transfer her to me, but I feel that she was meant to be in your care. After all, without you, I would have never found her, and subsequently met her son online.

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

God Bless,

Dorothea Lehrmann #77678068
Hi Amy,

I wanted to share with you that when searching for Mrs. Stern, I discovered her parents had a newborn who died in 1906, Dorothea Lehrmann #77678068.

It is important to be that the baby be linked to her parents, so I did a little more research, finding birth and death documents, and her Find A Grave memorial.

I used the "edit" tab to add where the infant was born and where she died, and entered her parents memorial numbers so that she will "be with her parents" (linked).

I thought that perhaps you would like to know about the baby.

Because of your work I am in touch with one of Mrs. Stern's sons . . . I am feeling good and at peace.

Thank you again for all that you do to remember those who have passed.

God Bless,

Lucile Lehrmann Stern #63171438
Dear Amy,

Thank you for documenting the life of my beloved 4th grade teacher, Lucile Stern, by creating a memorial for her here on Find A Grave. Mrs. Stern was a remarkable women and gifted teacher.

God Bless,

Adams Triplets in Resthaven

I have removed the "wreath" photo which indicated the gravesites of the Adams Triplets were unmarked. The photo was not added to "break the rules" of Find A Grave but rather to provide a visual marker and show respect for these tiny ones and their location in Resthaven.

A private message from you would have been very kind rather than a public reprimand.

Thank you for providing the many memorials you have created to help family members in their genealogy research.

Hiram and Rhoda Williams' stones
Amy, I am the editor of the Bay Area Genealogical Society in Texas. I am planning to publish an article on Hiram Williams and his wife Rhoda buried in Camptown Cemetery. May I have your permission to use your photos of their tombstones to illustrate the article? I would of course cite you as the source. If you would like to provide your full name, I will use that.

RE: Doubles
I know I make mistakes but I was very thorough with that cemetery. I wish there was a way that the post date to a cemetery was part of the post and not just the post date to Find A Grave in general. Unfortunately I know a couple of members that have mostly all 'cemetery unknown' as their additions. I used to try to correct them if I found they were in a local cemetery I was working on but not anymore. They can put some effort into it and follow the rules too.

Thanks for the messages. I am suspicious that the entries were cemetery unknown until after the pictures were taken in 2015. I shall email edits to find out. Thanks for the heads up!
