|Bio and Links|
Interests (here) in where people come from, meaning, anything old or historical, or just reading Bios from people writing about family or friends.EVERYONE has a story, and when I can get online, I am honored and humbled by these memories. I look for pages to reunite MY family for safe-keeping,(even if by links) this also leaves a doorway for other surviving members of my family, and relatives out there that I come across by pure chance. I have actually "met" cousins via this site along with Ancestry and it's always a thrill! I must mention that I have made some absolutely wonderful friends here as well, and wish I could access the site on a more regular basis. I want friends here to know, that even though I am not online, I DO think about you guys, how your doing, and keep all in my prayers. I always take the "virtual" walk here and leave flowers. I have found MANY beautiful, touching and Historical pages.|
I am looking for a couple Surnames right now...the Parker-Wright and Wright-Prather (Praderman) connections.
I am in the process of writing bios for my family members, and find it so hard as it is still painful to me. However, it will be done! :)
I live in a VERY Historic and Infamous Town. Pulaski, TN.
This is the location where the KKK was formed also Sam Davis was hung in Pulaski, TN. Infamous is too light a word in my opinion.
I am a Navy brat that was born in Japan. I have lived pretty much everywhere and traveled around the world several times.
I have a kind heart, and have literally given my last dollar to someone who needed it.
If *IF* I post markers in the future, and I have to give this much thought....I would NEVER hold them from Family Members.
THAT being said, I am very grateful to the people that have helped me, transferred family to me, and to the thousands that do this from the Heart.
I must confess, I cannot always get here, due to illness, but when I do, My heart BREAKS when I read the bios. I wish I could do more then leave tokens/flowers for these dearly loved people, it just doesn't seem like it's enough. Hugs to all, as I also have pain in my Heart.
A most grateful Thank you to A. Horan for providing
the grave stone of my Dad, who is buried at
Arlington National Cemetery, and to Debra, who located
My Paternal Grandmom, her parents, and many
Other Skiles that are directly related to me.
It truly means the World to me.
A huge THANK YOU in advance for everyone that leaves tokens/flowers on the pages of my Family. It is so appreciated and thoughtful. I try to
get to those that leave notes on my family, and
I apologize now, if I miss some loved ones when
leaving tokens/flowers for other Family members
NOTE: Feel free to use any of my grave marker AND/OR MY FAMILY photos any way that you want to, as few (if any) of them have any artistic value which would be covered by the intent of the Copyright clause in the Constitution.
Very sorry for not answering messages, will be back soon....A LOT has been going on.
Miss you all xo
Due to work, and of course, when the Depression sets in, I haven't been here in quite a while, and cannot even begin to tell you how much it bothers me...I miss talking to some great people!

Thank you for your history. My maternal family, Angus, was born in Pulaski. I am looking for Edward Inman who was killed in a crap game by my Grandfather Leslie Angus who changed his name to English in 1928 when he escaped jail.

The Chapman's family tree is not a tree, it is a vine that twist around and around. There was a Susan in every family and a James that had a middle name that started with M. when you find a J.M. Chapman say, which one? James Madison,(1820-1892)son of James and Susan, married Minda Rackley. Minda had a sister, Louisa that 1st married Wm. Bray. They had daughters, Sarah J, Mary Louisa and Malinda Ella. After Wm. Bray died Louisa married Joseph M. Chapman(1849-?)Her Daughter Malinda Ella married James W. Chapman. Sarah J.Bray married Joseph M.(1852-?) The 1910 census has me confused. there is a Joseph Mart Chapman born 1852. He has a Sarah J. listed as his daughter born 1860 and is a widow. That would make him 8 years old when she was born. There are 6 children(Lilly and Lila-twins)in this home with the last name Bray. this looks like he had a daughter Sarah that married a Bray. So Louisa Rackley Bray married Joseph M Chapman(1849) her daughter, Sarah J Bray married Joseph M Chapman(1852 the Joseph in 1910 census)Her daughter,Malinda Ella Married James W Chapman. Oh well, I married a Chapman and he turned out to be a cousin.

Luna Chapman was my 3rd great grandfather. He was the son of James(1780-1855)and Susan(1775-1860) I have searched all cemetery's that the chapman's in my line are in and have not found his grave. He may be in the Chapman Cemetery. I think James, Susan and their daughter Susan are in this cemetery. Many headstones have names washed away.It is on the property that James owned and the area is still called Chapman Ridge.I grew up a few miles away and had to ride on this road to school on the bus. I saw the sign "Chapman Cemetery" every day, and years later discovered that all those graves were my ancestors! James Madison Chapman, brother of Luna is there and so is his wife,Minda. Find a grave#61653706. Their brother, William Curtis, is buried in Campbellsville cem. not far away. find a grave #30031162. have not found brothers Robert C. and Samuel. Still trying!

|deborah miles||RE: James Chapman|
I have requested a stone for James Chapman and was informed there was no stone for him there. In the 1850 Census living in District 5, Giles Co TN, he is listed as being born in TN and not New Hampshire. I have his parents as David Chapman and Elizabeth Clark. David was born abt 1752 New Hampshire, d abt 1817 New Hampshire.

Your token for Traci Fields
Beth, thank you so much for the token you left for Traci. It is VERY MUCH appreciated. I've been letting all my relatives (which aren't very many) know that I'm trying to get to 5,000 tokens for Traci by her birthday and yours helps in that count.
Thank you again.
Sharon (Traci's mom)
Traci's birthday is 20 Nov...Beth
