I am a former teacher, mother of 4 and Nana to 10 beautiful grandchildren. I have always been passionate about my faith,family,animals, history and genealogy. A New Englander by birth, I now reside on the Maine coast. My wonderful husband was a career AIR FORCE man and we traveled much of the world. I LOVE America and have the deepest respect and honor for our men and women who serve our country, both now and in days long ago. As a Christian, I KNOW that death is not the end...but a beginning for those who have loved The Lord. I thank you in advance for visiting my loved ones, I truly appreciate your visits.|
PLEASE stop by my Virtual Cemetery; "Celia's Precious Girls." These three beautiful little girls were killed in a car crash. You will fall in love with them as I have.

You are very welcome, Susan. If there are other relatives in that cemetery that you would like to have just let me know. There are only a couple people in there that are related to us. I had just entered the entire cemetery from my Nancy Dodge book (which would only be ones with headstones by the mid 1980's). Then I enter people when I come across their death certificates while researching other people (and these would be the ones without headstones). I have this thing for finding burial places for entire families to link them all together. lol Sometimes it leads me down deep rabbit holes until I forget where I had started, but it is worth it in the end. lol
Have a wonderful holiday season with your family!

*Snifle* Thank you for leaving flowers for my mama.

You are very welcome, Susan. I didn't want you to keep waiting for a headstone pic when there isn't one. I did some more research, updated Aaron's memorial, and just turned him over to you since he is your 2x great grandfather, and no relation to me.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

hope you have a beautiful holiday as well. I think my North Carolina weather has been gorgous this year. Enjoy the flowering. Best to you..Sarah.

Thank you! I'm not personally connected to this family but they are very interesting to read about. I appreciate you taking the time to address this.

Hello Keeper of the Stars,
I came across your Find a Grave page for Archippus Blodgett and was very touched - we are family! I am a descendant of Elijah Blodgett and Mary Polly Lamkin, their daughter Lydia, her daughter Diana Snow and husband Jesse Marden/Mardin Sr. You can email me if you'd like at firstname.lastname@example.org I am also on Ancestry and can send you a guest link to my tree. Many blessings to you and yours! Nicole - Vermont

I manage the memorial for Elizabeth Woolsey Howland, Find A Grave Memorial# 55735370. There is a question about one of the photos you have added. People seem to think that one of the photos is actually her older sister. I cannot edit the photos or check them for accuracy. Could you please take a minute and have a look.
I received this note today:
I believe the photo Elizabeth Woolsey Howland holding daughter Abby Roberta Howland is actually a photo of Elizabeth's sister Mary Watts Howland with Findagrave memorial # 28871988. The 1870 census lists Abby Roberta Howland in the household of Robert Shaw Howland and Mary and all other sources indicate Robert Shaw Howland and Mary Watts Woolsey as Abby's parents. Of course, for all I know, it could be Elizabeth holding Abby but Elizabeth would be her Aunt.
and I I received this note in 2013:
Thank you for creating this memorial, but you have posted a picture of the wrong sister. This is a picture of Elizabeth's older sister, Mary Elizabeth Watts (Woolsey) Howland (1832-1867), wife of Rev. Robert Shaw Howland, and her daughter Abby.

|Beth Hurd||RE: Thank You!|
you are very welcome.
I found the extra info using the search at the familysearch.org site - this has Rhode Island deaths up to 1950, federal and state census info, etc. I limit the info to the location of Rhode Island to narrow the number of results. This site is free to use. After finding sibling names, you can check to see if there are already memorials created for them on Find-A-Grave, then link to them.
If you are new to RI research, also see the RI Historical Cemeteries Transcription Project Database Index, online and searchable, linked to the RIGenWeb at Rootsweb (Rhode Island has more than 3,400 historic cemeteries - the more modern cemeteries, with cemetery offices on site, are not included)
|Beth Hurd||RE: Transfer|
happy to transfer .... also sent parents' links for a memorial for daughter Lumina (Levesque) Coutu to "Researcher"
