"You hear the song of birds, cross a small stream, and are with Nature in the grand old forest graveyard, so beautiful that almost any sensible person would choose to dwell here with the dead, rather than with the lazy, disorderly living."
John Muir

Cheatham County Tennessee resident, but I travel around the state fairly often. I grew up in the rural areas outside Memphis, and now have family members strewn across Tennessee, nearly corner to corner.

Past Co-Historian of the Pleasant Hill Cemetery Association. If you are looking for info on someone buried there, chances are I can provide it.

I'm happy to provide a transfer or add additional info to a memorial. If you're related, let me know; the memorial is all yours. I am also willing to transfer to the accounts of Surname/Family Societies (e.g., Gann, Meriwether), as I figure they have the resources to be better stewards of a memorial than me.

Also, feel free to use the headstone photos I've added to memorials for your Ancestry.com tree or similar. What's the point of having a photo if you can't use it? If you want to use a non-headstone picture that I've added, just let me know. All pics of my family members are already available on my public Ancestry.com tree.

Family lines include, but are not limited to:
Paternal:
Collier, Heyman/Heymann, Hooker, Hoppers, Lawrence, Leak/Leake, Malone, Moore, Purcell, Schwan, Teagarden, Walpole, and Yates.

Maternal:
Addison, Bell, Byram, Damon, Fisk/Fiske, Goddard, Gorham, Porter, Raney/Riney, Reilly/Reily/Riley, Smith, Whitney, and Wilcutt.

Links point to the oldest confirmed ancestor from the given line I've found on Find A Grave (not including "burial unknown" memorials).
