Hi!

I was born at 5:57 p.m. on Tuesday, October 20, 1992 at Holy Cross Hospital (now Salt Lake Regional Medical Center) in the East Central neighborhood of Salt Lake City. I was raised in West Valley City and Kearns and lived in Salt Lake City from 2014 to 2021. A proud Illinois resident since September 2021, I live in the Central Park neighborhood on Rockford's Northwest Side with my husband, Ian (a native of Kenosha, Wisconsin), and our dogs, Willis, Rickman, and Iggy.

Family history research led me to discover Find A Grave one day back in August of 2006. I subsequently joined and have greatly enjoyed contributing here since. I feel honored and privileged to be able to help document and memorialize the lives of those who came before me as well as preserve their information for future generations. It is truly a labor of love for me.

When not doing genealogical research, I'm deeply involved in politics and community service (Former: Utah Stonewall Democrats board member/recorder/publications director, Utah Transit Riders Union board member, county delegate, state delegate, precinct vice chair, county central committee member, secretary of the Salt Lake County Democratic Party's Constitution Revision Committee, volunteer at the Volunteers of America Utah - Homeless Youth Resource Center, school crossing guard at Salt Lake City School District, Precinct Committeeperson (Ward 7, Precinct 3), Winnebago County Democratic Party; and Member, Public Relations Committee, Winnebago County Democratic Party. Current: Local Board Member of the State of Illinois, Selective Service System; and Judge of Election, City of Rockford Board of Election Commissioners).

Since February 2023, I have been a student at Southern New Hampshire University, where I'm pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Public Administration. I am employed at the 17th Judicial Circuit Court, which serves Winnebago and Boone counties. My position is as a Legal Navigator at the Winnebago County Legal Self-Help Center, located in the Law Library at the Winnebago County Courthouse.

I also enjoy reading, writing (I've written for Salt Lake Film Review, Utah Political Capitol, KSL.com, Deseret News, Building Salt Lake, Journal of Mormon History, QSaltLake Magazine, and Left Right News), and listening to '70s and '80s music. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and grew up in the Jordan North Second Ward (Salt Lake Jordan North Stake).

Please let me know of any corrections or additions that need to be made to one of my memorials. As for transfers, I don't subscribe to the four-generation rule. If I've added a memorial for one of your relatives or friends and you would like to manage it, please let me know and I will be more than happy to transfer the memorial to you.
