I was born and raised in Leon County. I live on the original Murphy Survey, next to the orginial Mullenax survey. My GG grandparents were B.T Murphy ( From Ireland is all we are sure of) and Joanna Mullenax - daughter of Hiram Mullenax & Nancy Caroline Turner)...I have a love for old cemeteries and spend a lot of time there.Always looking for interesting family and Leon County stories..as I wonder about the lives they lived in the past, only one thing really matters- did they Know God and have a personal relationship with His son...for we all shall return to dust someday...Hope to see all in heaven someday.
