Bio

I started researching my own genealogy for my father, and found that a lot of my ancestors had already had their graves photographed on this site. So, in an effort to give back to this site, I am willing to help others find their ancestors. I give my permission for any and all photos taken by me to be used for genealogies both public and private. Also, I do not require credit for any photos I take. My ancestors may be gone from me, but as long as I am still researching them, then they are not forgotten. All photographs are taken with the utmost of respect.
I am more than happy to transfer memorials to family members. If I have created a memorial that upsets a family member, please ask me to transfer ownership over, and leave the memorial up with your specific wishes left in the biography section. That way, future find-a-gravers will know to respect your wishes.
I may weed a little, and snip some grass, but I will not clean the gravestone. I will not risk harming a memorial for the sake of a photo.

I have a large amount of photo requests pending...I use findagrave as a sort-of "filing system." It makes it very simple for me to print out a list of the names in a given cemetery that are still lacking photos. Please realize that even though I have photo requests in for people, I do not expect many of them to be fulfilled. I appreciate any efforts spent on my behalf to fulfill them, and I hope to fulfill many more requests in my area.

Thank you so very much to all the great volunteers who take the trouble to add photos! I have met some amazing people through findagrave, and you guys are absolutely the best! THANK YOU!!!
