Bio

I was born and raised in NYS' beautiful Hudson River Valley; so I grew up surrounded by history.

I was about 8 when I dug up a Revolutionary War era musket ball in our garden and was awed by the stories it could have told. When my father showed me a coin from the mid 1800s he found in his local boyhood schoolyard, I was hooked on history.

My grandmother's sister lived to a lucid 106 years of age and fed my addiction for stories from the olden days.

And now I have become one of those little old ladies I used to make fun of, happily wandering around cemeteries and record halls.

Home for the last 25 years has been Otsego County in Central NYS; a place with an old abandoned cemetery around every corner.
I like nothing more than uncovering an old stone and giving them back their names and histories and families on FAG.

I try to research each person's background carefully, but if you see a mistake, let me know.
And if you see a relative and want a transfer, let me know.

Feel free to use any pictures or information I post for any reason, no need to credit me.
