RE: Robert L. Jenks - Brookside Cemetery
Thank you. Thought I would give you an update. I found a 1922 obituary for Julia's brother that mentioned her as a surviving sister but listed her name as Julia Jenks, not Hoag, and had her living in New York City. Long story short, I would not expend too much energy looking for Julia as I have no idea where she ultimately wound up. Thanks again.

Dear Mr. Bryant (Cullan), My thanks ! Yours, Jeff
ps - I glanced at your lineage, but don't think we are related as your Bryants don't seem to be NJ based. Your thoughts ?

RE: Robert L. Jenks - Brookside Cemetery

Thank you for the note and the offer to look for Julia. I looked over the Hoags currently listed in Find a Grave and none of them are in my tree. There should be a David L Taylor (son-in-law) near Harrison Jenks and perhaps a Nettie Taylor.

Happy hunting.

Robert L. Jenks - Brookside Cemetery

Thank you very much for the photo of Robert Jenks. I appreciate the effort.

I know you were likely focused on getting the gravestone image(s) but I was wondering if you happened to notice another marker for a Julia Hoag nearby? Julia, Robert's mother, was married to Harrison Jenks, Robert's father, both mentioned on the marker. Hoag was the name she took when she remarried after Harrison's death.

I know this is a long shot, but thought I would ask in case you have a very good memory.

Thanks again.

haha Cullan I thought so but I wanted to double check. FYI tomorrow, Saturday is the annual clean-up at Opposition so if you need any photos from there just let me know. We are going to be helping them. Thanks for correcting and letting me know this entry information. Denise
