Bill - if you would like a transfer of this memorial page please use the edit tab to request a transfer. You are very fortunate to have been able to connect with him. Every so often I receive inquiries from National Park Services historians, university archivists, etc. and it is very interesting to correspond with them.

Thanks for the information Bill!
|OurFamilyTies||Congressman Abraham Maus Schermerhorn|
I was wondering about the photo you left for Abraham Maus Schermerhorn.
The Schermerhorn book say's the photo is Jacob Maus Schermerhorn who was Congressman Abraham Maus Schermerhorn's brother. I'm curious if it's just a mistake or if you know for sure its Abraham? I'm also from this Schermerhorn family and was just curious.

When you get around to it pictures of the gravestone would be great and perhaps that is where his wife Mary (we called her May) was buried as well - Thanks Deirdre
|Russ Pickett||Hey Bill ....|
Saw your record for MG Leonard Fish "Red" Wing. Great job on the bio my friend. Also noted your interest in Vermont. I have a webpage that might be of interest to you:
Have a great day!

My uncle, Edwin Weber, is buried in Oakwood cemetery. He served in WW I on an amunitions train. His application for headstone or marker shows apaproval frr his headstone 17 Nov 1953 - In your travels around that cemetery do you have any records of him?
His wife Mary Virginia Darden Weber, died in Florida in 1971 and I do not know if they sent her body to be with him?

Cool, 3 of those have stones I found and 3 are on the other list and no stone found now. Good place to start poking around.
