I have been creating a large family tree and found on some find a grave entries, do not have all the information and wish to have all the information added.
Regarding my mother, your ID as (110089827) she was born Lida Bennison. My late father Herbert Jay Mould (1916-1993) was her 1st husband between 8 Nov 1941 to about March or April 1949. he is listed in the find a grave records as (120423707).
Her second husband was Douglas M Roy (1908-1997) your id as (132760873) in his Find A Grave Record. this marriage took place approximately in 1958
Her third husband was named: William Baxter of Ridgewood, New Jersey and prior to that Midland Park, New Jersey I know no dates about him he may still be alive. This marriage was for only one or two years, 1968-1969.
Her forth and last husband was Randolph Frederick Mattlage (1901-1984) this last marriage was on 19 Oct 1977 (I gave her away, and lasted until 28 Aug 1980 in court.
My mother had a sister Ruth Bennison (1921-1991)
No other children were ever born in any of the other marriages.
Missing Decatur Relatives I am searching for the graves of Nahum B. Thompson and his sons. Both of his sons obits say they are to be buried in the family plot in Decatur. Nahum was a prosperous man, once a member of the NYS Assembly. His first 2 wives are at Decatur Center but not Nahum. I wonder if there is an abandoned cemetery on the family farm? Looking at the Beers Atlas of 1868, you can see Thompson Corners just north of the village of Decatur at the Y in school district #1. No house stands there today and the area is completely overgrown. Others who might be interred there are: Nahum B. Thompson: 22 March 1797 - 8 November 1876 Julius R. Thompson: 1830-20 August 1890 Nahum B. Thompson Jr. June 1837 -29 December 1915
Since you live nearby, you might be aware of this plot or you might like to go exploring someday! If you find anything, I would be very grateful to know about it.
