Johnnie Wilson " J.W. " Davis born July 16, 1921 of Mississippi was declared legally dead on Nov 15 1988 after no records could be found after 1957.

He is the son of Ralph W. Davis and Viola E. Erkhart Davis of George Co, Lucedale Mississippi.

J.W. was a US. Army Veteran WWII in Pattons Army 92nd Chemical Mortar Battalion. He was injured in Aachen, Germany. Battles and Campaigns include: Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland, and Central Europe.

He was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, European African Middle Eastern Service Medal, and The Purple Heart.
12, 10, 2023- missing for 64 years.

Photography was invented in 1822 when the first photograph was taken by Joseph Nicéphore Niépce (pronounced "nyeps"). Unfortunately, the first examples of Niépce's work have been lost to history, but he still holds the title for the oldest surviving photograph, taken in 1826.
