Wondering with your knowledge of the St. Olaf you could help me with a name. There is a stone in the second row from the East end (looks like babyland to me) The name on the stone is Lila 1923-1936. I can not figure out the last name. Family must not have stayed around as I hunt through census records with no luck. Have any ideas who would have records for there.

Thank you so much for all of your tireless devotion to findagrave families. As a fellow grave walker I know the time, effort, as well as money it takes, so very thankful for all you do, it means so much.
My very best, Kim Lowrey Murphy Haukoos

In his obit it states his father as Samuel H, Gill, Sam was his brother. Chas, father was Thomas Gill.
thank you, Kim
I missed it. Fixed now.
I do not know if you are aware that on your profile page there is a new edit button that has edits to fix memorials. I have probably send 25 or more to you as they do not come to your email. I did not know this either to it was brought to my attention.
|Angie||Clem C Pauley|
I was wondering if you would do some changes to Clem C Pauley's memorial. His real name was Clement Califax "Clem" (all we knew him by) Pauley Jr. and connect Clement Califax Pauley Jr. to his Father Clement Califax Pauley Sr. memorial#61745624 and to his Mother Marietta "Nettie: Skiles Pauley Memorial#55501632. I would appericate this and Thank you Angie

Thanks so much for adding all the biographical material for Lucy. I am sure moving to Nebraska City in the late 1860s to open a school was not easy. I'm glad the she is getting the recognition she deserves.

|c.walker||RE L.O. Midkiff and father Daniel Midkiff|
Thanks for the heads up on who Lee Odous Midkiff's father was. this is a new memorial for his father...we assumed Daniel Midkiff was buried on the land he owned and provided as a cemetery for Midkiff family members, but i had no documentation about it. Teri Smith must have come up with something. There are two Midkiff cemeteries listed , unfortunately his wife , Dollie Allen; is not listed in the same one as Daniel Midkiff. I think the two cemeteries should be combined. When we visited there in 2012 we saw only the lower cemetery. One of the Bays boys told us there is another, older burial ground higher up on the mountain. We hope to go back there this summer or fall to explore further. Robert Fitch mentioned there was yet another Midkiff cemetery in very close proximity and reachable by car. We had to fend off a darned goat in the lower Midkiff cemetery. But that goat sure keeps the vegetation in check, as when we first visited this Midkiff Cemetery ( behind Eloise Bays property) we had to hack our way thru severe undergrowth and most of the tombstones were not visible. Daniel Midkiff and Dollie Allen are my husbands great grandparents. Teri is a cousin ...her grandmother and my husbands mother were sisters. We live in New England. I have to email Teri and reconnect. Thanks again
