Bio and Links
Bio Photo Frederick (Fred) George Beisser is the oldest child of the late Frederick T. Beisser of Plymouth, Wisconsin and the late Edith Hulda Hoffmann of Town of Lima, Sheboygan County, Wisconsin.

Fred graduated from Sheboygan Falls Public High School, was employed in his home town by Curt G. Joa, Inc. for two years and in 1963 enlisted in the United States Air Force. He served his country for 25 years in various accounting, budgeting and financial management positions in Turkey, Germany, Japan and in the United States. He retired from the Air Force with rank of Major in January 1989. During his military career he was awarded the Meritorius Service Medal (five times) and the Air Force Commendation Medal as well as Expert Marksmanship Medal for both rifle and pistol. While with the Air Force he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with the University of Southern Colorado in Pueblo, Colorado and a Master of Business Administration from Golden Gate University in San Francisco.

In 1967 while serving with the Air Force in Ankara, the capitol of Turkey, Fred met the late Mechtild Susanne Elisabeth Wienhues of Gelsenkirchen, Germany, who was visiting mutual friends, Johannes and Eva Huber, in their apartment on the grounds of the German Embassy. Subsequently, after Fred's arrival in Wiesbaden, Germany, on a following assignment, he and Susanne were married in 1968. They became the parents of two children, Alice Margrit and Frederick Johan Beisser. Their assignments together included Colorado Springs, Colorado; McClellan AFB, Sacramento, California; Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan; Travis AFB, Vacaville, Calif.; Incirlik Air Base, Adana, Turkey; and Hahn Air Base, Germany. In 1983 M. Susanne E. Beisser died in Blankenrath, Germany in a fatal traffic accident. Eventually, Fred and the children returned to the USA, coming to Lowry AFB, Denver, Colorado for a final assignment at the Air Force Accounting & Finance Center. In January of 1989 Fred retired from the Air Force.

In 1990 Fred was appointed Chief Financial Officer of DCX, Inc., Franktown, Colorado, and later promoted to Vice President--Finance & Administration. Subsequently in 2002 he was appointed Senior Vice President --Finance with PlanGraphics, Inc. of Frankfort, Kentucky, a position he held until his "retirement" in November 2009. He was assigned to its administrative office in Parker, Colorado where also he makes his home. In November 2006 he became a member of the board of trustees for the Elbert County Library District. In March 2009 he was appointed to the board of directors of the East Central Council of Governments in Colorado and in October 2009 he was elected to the board of directors of the German American Chamber of Commerce - Colorado Chapter and subsequently named vice president.

Fred also holds a PhD from American International University of Canoga Park, California, and was a Colorado certified public accountant for many years. He is fluent in English and German and also speaks Turkish.

In addition to hobbies such as running, Western Americana, elk hunting and Texas Longhorn cattle, Fred has a strong interest in genealogy and is actively researching the following families that appear in his family tree:

Beisser originally from Calw, Wuerttemberg, Germany.

Hoffmann originally from Altenglan, RheinPfalz, Germany.

RE: Englers of Elmore Cemetery
Little puzzled by your message. Which Englers are you referring to as I thought the transfers were done before along with the answer to your question. Enlighten me.

Charles E. Broughton
I can't seem to add information to Charles E. Broughton's page like Uncle Charles's spouse, parents and his son? He had a son that died in infancy, He and Emma were my great Uncle and Aunt, I would like to add information! ?? When i go to edit and try to add the names it says error, add only numbers? If you want to add the info here it is

Mother: Emma Courtelyow
Father: John Broughton

Spouse: Emma Helena Born
Married on June 23, 1898

Son: George Welham Broughton
born: July 9, 1899
He died in infancy but I do not know when exactly.

Charles and Emma raised my maternal grandmother, Ruby Sinz and her sister Edna Sinz when their mother, Catherine Born Sinz passed away at 36, she was Emma's sister, married to a doctor who worked on the Indian Reservation northern Wisconsin and could not properly care for the girls. They lived in Sheboygan on Broughton Drive, (named for Uncle Charlie) in the big brick house on Lake Michigan. I hear that house was torn down, what a shame!!

Thank You!

Emil S Weisse or Verdetta Weisse
Hi, My name is Sharon. I was born and raised in Land O' Lakes, WI. I was raised in the house that Emil S. Weisse had built. Verdetta (Weisse)and Ralph Wolf were dear friends of my parents. I own the home that Verdetta built and my parents still reside in the home that Emil Weisse built. Can you tell me anything about Mrs. Wolf. I was 11 when she moved back to Milwaukee.

Sorry about last message. The picture finally came up. It was a picture of the cemetery, not the gravestone.
Thanks anyway - Joyce

You have entered a gravestone picture of my Uncle Will, but it does not show up on his memorial page. Please advise how I can get it to appear or will you enter again.
Thanks - Joyce Little Graham
