Born April 12 1968 in Pforzheim, Germany. As a little child my grandmother used to take me with her on her visits to the grave of her second husband in the old part of the local main cemetery (Hauptfriedhof). This is where my curiosity about genealogy started. Before I moved to Seattle 2001 I took pictures of my favorite places so that I can visit them any time I want in my imagination.
