RE: Bridget Collins
Yes. Her husband, John Collins, died first. They are both in the grave, along with several other people.

RE: painter family

Not sure as to how we would be related because there are so many kids in the family. There were half brothers my dad evidently did not know about from a different mother. None of this was ever talked about.
I skipped a generation inadvertently going back to Jacob Painter.
I am a direct descendent from Jake the Missouri gunsmith.
My dad was Kenneth Robert Painter. His dad was Kenneth Augustus Painter. His dad was Kenneth Augustus Painter. His father was Elisha who was Jacob's son. That makes me a direct descendant of Jacob. His father was Samuel and Daniel's father was John who fought the Cherokee and the British in NC before moving to Illinois.I can date the Painter family back to the 1600s.

On the other side of the family is my mother's mother who's maiden name was Houston, which traced back shows I am the grand son x 3 of General Sam Houston.

As for DNA, there is no direct way this can be performed without DNA from Jacob but it is pointless because even following the family tree though find a grave confirms my relationship to Jacob.
If you follow back on Robert G's parents and siblings going back in time, you may see our distant relationship.
I was surprised at all the related Painters.

Francis McQuade
Hi Linda,
I photographed the location of Francis's grave.

This McQUADE grave is unmarked. The location is Yard 5C, Range 34, Lot 15.

It lies between the PICANSO/BINDAS plot, [located at Yard 5C, Range 34, Lot 14] and the SWIFT/DURKIN plot [located at Yard 5C, Range 34, Lot 17].

There is an indentation in the ground where the grave exists.
