We had a successful disinterment and reinterment of Jacob Youtcy in Kelvin/Kearny, Arizona. Over 300 people attended the funeral. Horses, caisson, Civil War re-enactors, Catholic priest in period vestments, the train honked as it went past the cemetery and two military planes flew over the parade and waggled their wings at Jacob as we went through town. Over 100 of his descendants and their families attended as well. God gave us a fantastically humbling day.

A Standers Affirmation

I made mistakes. Horrible ones. And poor choices. And was selfish and arrogant and lazy at times. I thought I was giving everything to my wife and marriage and children, but now I see so many places I could have done better, done more, made better choices, used kinder words.

I am still in love with my wife. I said "for better or for worse" and meant it. I said "in good times and in bad" and meant it. And I said "until death do us part" and I meant it. I still mean those things.

I will not speak angry words to my wife or about my wife. I will not use the children as pawns. I will not return slights with slights. I will speak love and goodness to her, about her.

So I am "standing" for our marriage. What that really means is I'm kneeling in prayer for our marriage. I will trust in God's faithfulness and His ability to do ANYTHING, including change hearts and reroute divorce. I was wrong in so many ways. Please forgive me, Barbara. I love you.

Hello. This person (memorial # 44964321) is my uncle on my mom's side. I would love to manage it and add some things to it. Thank you so much for including it on findagrave!

She is not buried in that Cemetery that you have her in. Lancaster Pennsylvania Mennonites vital records 1750 - 2014. It gives the name of her husband that she was born July 29, 1863 d- of Jacob & Eva Specht the card says no children but I have obit in front of me and they had one child. And he died before she did and his father died a couple of years later AFTER THE SON WAS BORN . It states that survivors include these nieces and nephews Mrs. Earl Oaks, Herman Sober and Rush Sober of Johnstown Pa. Mrs. George Dodge of Los Angels Calif and Ezra Burbaker of Phoenix Az. She lived a half of century where she died and it isn't any where close to Pa. She is already in find a grave along with her husband, her son and her son's wife. don't put someone in that you don't know where they are buried it just makes a mess out of everything doing family history cause it took me all afternoon to sort this out. AMANDA IS NOT BURIED IN THE CEMTERY YOU HAVE HER IN I HAVE HER OBIT.

Eunice Sykes again.
Just found more information. She and Darwin were born in Groton, Tompkins, NY. Her date of death is given as Feb 1880 and says she is buried at Ackley. Her parents were Beriah Southworth and Sally Olmstead, they were a military family. They had one other child who is buried at Middlebury - 161815942.

I believe this lady is the wife, not daughter of Darwin Sykes [38380192] Her maiden name is Southworth and she was born in New York state in 1817, as was Darwin. Their daughter Mandana is the wife of Frederick Woodcock [38381713] who are also at this cemetery.I have just submitted an edit for Mandana's maiden name but don't want to try for links to her parent's until this gets fixed, if you can see your way clear. In Darwin's obituary it only mentions that she had died several years before him. Thanks for your time, and keep up the great work!!

I see that you have listed his bio and memorial and someone has added a picture of the stone with no cemetery listed, by chance have you researched this further since the photo was added and found the actual site? This is the area I live in and I can do some leg work in finding it if you have any good leads as to where to start looking. Thanks in advance for any help.

Since am sent my correction, I realized I was wrong about Samuel May's parents. Sorry about that. The edit you processed today is not correct.

John Ellis - Islington cemetery
I'm planning to visit Islington cemetery in a couple of weeks time and am currently preparing for the visit. I was going to look for John's grave but I am unable to find his burial in the cemetery records. There is no John Ellis as having died in 1932. Could he be Alfred John.
