Bio and Links
Bio Photo I started searching for Maiden names of Women in the Family. Years of off and on research made some exciting finds.
Names lost of Grandparents Mothers etc on the male side and also on the female side. Names never to be known unless uncovered.
Thanks to the new Family I have found and their sharing of the wonderful Price history of our relatives. Thanks to the Journey To Cape Fear By Michael Price (A wonderful work),if not for EEPrice,I would not have the book..so a special thanks to you.
South Carolina Price Family,
The Price-Collins Family, I say a big thanks to all the help.
A special thanks for the help of the Bethel Baptist Church,a cousin there, in MS that led me to a path of My GG grandFather.
One year ago (2012) I knew nothing of my Paternal side of the lost Family.

RE: Mary Ellen Price Shannon
I don't know; I don't have that information yet. The earliest record I have for Mary Ellen Price is the 1850 Browning, De Kalb County, Georgia census. I can tell you that the records I have found for her so far tell me that she is from South Carolina, the same as Moses Mobley Shannon. I don't know if they married in South Carolina or in Georgia.

I hope this helps you in your search. If you happen across the information that you seek I would be very grateful if you would share it with me.

Thanks!

RE: James (Jim) Madison Price
I wish I could help, but I don't know anything at all about the Price family and don't remember that cemetery at all, though I apparently once visited it since my name is under the gate shot.

RE: Beatrice Price
Hello,
To the best of my knowledge, Beatrice(Connell)Price's mother was Ophelia Craker, born 1870. I couldn't find any info on her father.

Beatrice had several siblings; Arbelia, Hilburn, Oscar, Virl, Arly and Bernella. Some had the Connell name and some were Craker.

I hope this helps! :-)

RE: Evan James Buckley..parents are
you are incorrect. check the surname against the marriage dates. Both parents you have listed were married twice.

You said she was your 2nd cousin?

She is the wife of my 1st Cousin, 3 x removed, Martin Walter Knowles - so I guess we are very remotely related!!!!

RE: Rev Joseph Price Howe
The family story that has been handed down was that Joseph took his wife's maiden name as his middle name to honor her.

RE: Carrie Bell Price-Perry
I have no info on the Prices, my wife's parents are buried at Springhill, and I took several pics and posted them on Find A Grave. Sorry.
