RE: Buck Prairie Cemetery - John Seaman
A Quick check of the Marionville IOOF Cemetery listing does NOT show that John Seaman is in this cemetery, so the current conclusion is that he is where we think he is. However I can ask the IOOF cemetery records guy if there is actually a John Seaman in the place. The records are spread over several volumes, and they may have missed him. This would save me a long hike to the Buck Prairie cemetery. I did look at the markers in the area, but No John.

RE: Buck Prairie Cemetery - John Seaman
I just found out today the name of the (Possible) records keeper for the Buck Prairie Cemetery. Unfortunately I was not provided a phone number, just a possible address. When I get time I intend to pursue this.
Also, just Today, While I was in the Marionville IOOF Cemetery, I noticed a marker that said "Seaman" near the East edge of Block 7 Old. I did not photograph them, But I did wonder if you knew that they were there? There were several 'Seaman' people there.

Thanks for the photo of the tombstone of Edgar and Joseph Francis and their wives. Was not sure of dates with Edgar.

Error: Photo request for William Scott Hamilton
Unfortunately, I was "hoping" he was buried there with his wife and posted the memorial. The only info I came up with was that he died in Warrenton, Fauquier, VA. I will change the location to "unknown".
Thank you for your effort and for all of your contributions to Find A Grave.

RE: Blackwell Smith
Carter, I have the images but they were taken by a volunteer at the cemetery. I have requested permission to post them. It seems that they are buried in the same plot as the Hoovers. They share the same marker stone. Is it possible that Lucy is related to the Hoovers? Ted

Blackwell Smith
Carter, I was in the Soquel area and tried to photograph the marker for Blackwell Smith. Well I was unable to find it on my own but found a contact there and they are trying to get an image for me. Meanwhile, I left the area today. However, they did provide me with some information about this person. "It was an unmarked grave as of the year 1951. Blackwell Smith is in: Section 12, Plot 139, Grave G. Blackwell Smith is buried beside Lucy B Smith. He is also with the Hoover's. If not mistaken the Hoovers have one marker for all of them." You might want to add this to the Memorial. Stay tuned as they indicated that another email from them is to be expected. Ted
