George B. Friday in Oakwood
Thank you, Don, for the photo you added for George:

If you still have the photo, could you please also upload a copy of it for his (2nd) wife Margaret (McQuide) Friday ? I've submitted a photo request for her.

Thanks again!

Sorry I won't be of much help - some of the stones in this cemetery are not in the best condition (difficult to read) -

I suggest you make a memorial page for George Barnes Monty - and link to the Eunice Monty - and request a photo - - then another genie nut will take a look, take a photo - or let you know that the grave is not there..

Feryall / Almaw Cemetery
Hi Don
The last time I visited this French Baptist family plot more than 20 years ago, it was all grown high with lilac bushes. When I was there I tried to find a way to get it cleaned up, but ran into to many obstacles. Now I notice in your site that it is all cleared up with respect to those that are buried there, namely my direct ancestors (Almaw). The photo taken is great but really to small for me to appreciate. Is there a way I could get a larger (mega pixel) photo to view the stone better? I have much information on this family if anyone wishes to share. Thanks

RE: Edward Prairie Monument West Chazy Rural
Don, Thanks so much for looking for a marker. I've removed the photo request and added a note to Edward Prairie's memorial... if you'd like me to change it in any way, please let me know. I've looked for a lot of unmarked graves too, and I do appreciate your efforts! Alice

Okay, thanks! Good to know! I live across the river and I've been trying to get a bunch of photos before the winter sets in. It is a beautiful place. I used to take random photos as well but then had the thought that I should be doing it section by section. Hoping to have a good chunk done before we move away in a year or so. : ) I hear you about direct sunlight; always makes for a better picture!

Hey Don! I noticed you've been adding photos/memorials to Oakwood recently as well. I've been trying to get through a bunch of sections, and I have gotten through quite a bit although there are still MANY more to go! I was wondering if you were focusing on any certain sections so that I don't overlap your work. :)
