Find A Grave's primary purpose is a graves registration website, secondary purpose is a memorialization/remembrance site, tertiary purpose is a genealogical resource.
I will be happy to add info/links to any memorials. Thanks to all that have submitted info, docs, flowers or pics to the memorials to preserve our families. Thanks to everyone who has tried to find stones and found unmarked graves.
I firmly believe we are all God's children and are linked by this belief.
To add an internal link in the biography, you would need to type < a href="http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=XXXXXXX">Name< /a>
William A. Foster and Mary C. Sharp Foster are my great great grandparents. Thank you very much for creating their memorials here. Would you be willing to transfer them to me? It would be an honor to for me to continue their maintenance.
I have several family members buried in the Oakland Moravian Cemetery in Laclede County, near the Dry Nob area.
Would you please transfer the following memorials to me:
Emma Vuille Weber, #30903273, great-grandmother (my mother's paternal grandmother) Adele Vuille, #30903247, great-great-grandmother (mother of Emma) Adelle Weber, #30903265, great-great-grandmother (Emma's mother-in-law) Esther Vuille, #30903255, great-great-aunt (wife of Emma's brother, Henri Vuille) James Messer, #30903061, great-uncle (Jim was married to my great-aunt Evelyn Weber, daughter of Werner and Emma Vuille Weber)
I am related as follows:
Werner and Emma immigrated to the US in 1907 from Switzerland and had three children. Their oldest child, Paul Henry Weber, is my grandfather. Paul's oldest daughter, Wanda Pauline Weber Crossland, is my mother.
My mother, brother, sister, and I were graciously invited to tour the Werner Weber home a couple of months ago with the Laclede County Genealogical Society, by the current owners. We had not been in over 25 years, and they have restored it beautifully.
