I was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., and grew up just east of there in the small town of Murrysville. Through Army, college, and company transfers, I've retired to East Texas.
I was married to Janet Marie (Vogel) Hartley ,and have three children, Tim, Todd & Kari.
My genealogy interests are (Paternal): Hartley, Headlee(ey), Gass (my stone wall), Fordyce, Lemley, Shriver, Barrickman, Jones, Cunningham and Prickett. (Maternal): Green, Knox, Jackson, Scott (England), Heacox, Barton and Hawley.
I'm willing to take photos for anyone in and around the Tyler, Texas area. I would like to thank those that have taken photos for me. I've "met" some great friends that way.
Please email me with any additions and/or corrections and I'll gladly update.
Please note: Many thanks to Carolina Angel for sponsoring my wife's memorial page.
A very special thank you to my friend Diane Miller for sponsoring my great grandparents, Joseph & Margaret (Scott) Green and Albert Henry Knox. Please visit Diane's family.

It was no trouble. We were there on vacation and stayed in the hotel right next door!

They aren't the best photos,as I was in a bit of a hurry, but they'll have to do for now. Planning on getting this cemetery cleaned up and maintaining it on a regular basis, so then will be able to bet better pics.

Good to hear from you Olin. Time is flyin' by so fast & winter is just around the corner, and for you it's FLORIDA time again. May UR time in our "Sunshiny" state be a lovely experience, as always.
Just wanted to say THKS to you also, for all UR support so far this year & will see U whenever U get a chance to get some 'flowering' done. You will be missed!
Bye for now with Smiles! xoxo

Corrections have been done. Thanks for the info.

So sorry - we've moved to a new house and in the hub-bub, I didn't see your posting on F.A.G. I'd be happy to add all the info/photos/obituaries, etc. that you have on your relatives - as you can see, I'm better at email than posted messages, so you might want to email the info and attach jpegs or PDA's of material you'd like included.

Olin, I sent a few more pictures to the email you have listed here. Hope this helps. If you have any trouble opening the attachments, let me know.

Hi Olin. It's actually on private property coming up Little Shannon Run Road. My cousin owns it but I cannot remember the exact location. He does keep it cleaned off. I will check with him about Mary's grave.
|Mary Lambert||RE: Viola Maggie Hartley King|
I am not related to her but many of my husband's family members are buried in that cemetery in Sumner, Oklahoma. My husband's cousin, Richard Lambert, works hard to make sure the cemetery is maintained.
