I was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., and grew up just east of there in the small town of Murrysville. Through Army, college, and company transfers, I've retired to East Texas.|
I was married to Janet Marie (Vogel) Hartley ,and have three children, Tim, Todd & Kari.
My genealogy interests are (Paternal): Hartley, Headlee(ey), Gass (my stone wall), Fordyce, Lemley, Shriver, Barrickman, Jones, Cunningham and Prickett. (Maternal): Green, Knox, Jackson, Scott (England), Heacox, Barton and Hawley.
I'm willing to take photos for anyone in and around the Tyler, Texas area. I would like to thank those that have taken photos for me. I've "met" some great friends that way.
Please email me with any additions and/or corrections and I'll gladly update.
Please note: Many thanks to Carolina Angel for sponsoring my wife's memorial page.
A very special thank you to my friend Diane Miller for sponsoring my great grandparents, Joseph & Margaret (Scott) Green and Albert Henry Knox. Please visit Diane's family.

You’re welcome, Olin.
I often pass through Kilburn, but this was the first time in years that I decided to visit the churchyard. It was pure chance that among the few photographs that I took was one of the headstone of your relatives.

Thank you so much for remembering Aaron's Angel Day,

Glad to help Olin. I added William Jackson this morning but there is a discrepancy in the DOD.... 1910 instead of 1905. Mike

Olin: I am in possession of the dog tag for Merlin D. Hartley, son of Rose, which I found in about 1970 in Stone Lake, Wisconsin (about 6-7 hours drive Northwest of Chicago). The dog tag identifies Rose Hartley as parent, 605 E Monroe st, Chrisman, IL. I can be contacted at firstname.lastname@example.org if a family member wants the dog tag
|Helen Wilson||RE: Elizabeth Jane & Sarah Jane|
Jerry's grandmother Guilla Ann Mason (w/o Adam W. Wilson) was the daughter of Sanford Mason and Elizabeth Jane Williams of Monangalia Co., W.Va; Elizabeth Jane was the daughter of Coverdill Williams & Sarah Jane Headley, both b. in Greene Co., Pa. Sarah Jane was the daughter of Phineas Headley, son of John and grandson of our very own( and your ancestor as well) Ephraim.
|Helen Wilson||RE: John T. Headlee|
Olin: Don't worry, we spelled Headley correctly in the SAR app.! We were able to get deeds and other family history documents from the historical society which provided the final documentation needed;
Ephraim is Jerry's ancestor on his paternal grandmother's side..her mother was Elizabeth Jane Williams, daughter of Sarah Headley. Helen
|Helen Wilson||RE: John T. Headlee|
Hi Olin: Thought I'd let you know that my husband, Gerald T. Wilson, became a member of the SAR based on his relationship to Ephraim Headley. WE were able to get the final documentation needed from the Greene Co. historical society which is a great resource. Still hoping to get down to PA to get a picture of the graves. Hope you are well. Helen
|RoxyLynne||RE: George Hill|
I wanted to let you know that I photographed the other Hill family stones that were in the row along with George. I have Mary Ruth Hill, Bobby Jones Hill and Paul Hill, if you would like them. I posted pics for Grace Ruby Hill and Daily F Hill on Findagrave, also.
