Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., and grew up just east of there in the small town of Murrysville. Through Army, college, and company transfers, I've retired to East Texas.

I was married to Janet Marie (Vogel) Hartley ,and have three children, Tim, Todd & Kari.

My genealogy interests are (Paternal): Hartley, Headlee(ey), Gass (my stone wall), Fordyce, Lemley, Shriver, Barrickman, Jones, Cunningham and Prickett. (Maternal): Green, Knox, Jackson, Scott (England), Heacox, Barton and Hawley.
I'm willing to take photos for anyone in and around the Tyler, Texas area. I would like to thank those that have taken photos for me. I've "met" some great friends that way.

Please email me with any additions and/or corrections and I'll gladly update.

Please note: Many thanks to Carolina Angel for sponsoring my wife's memorial page.

A very special thank you to my friend Diane Miller for sponsoring my great grandparents, Joseph & Margaret (Scott) Green and Albert Henry Knox. Please visit Diane's family.

RE: Thomas Grenville
I have replied by sending a very detailed edit on Memorial# 64480586, the one which has him buried in the correct place.

I suggest you delete the other memorial which has him buried incorrectly.

Thank you for your attention to and desire to have correct information.

Find A Grave is becoming inundated with entries that do not belong because they have no cemetery, or are have incorrect information culled from totally wrong internet sites. It is becoming useless to those who are not just trying to pad a personal genealogy with names and don't care if they are incorrect.

I welcome any further questions you may have.

Olin, I believe that Mary Elizabeth Dennis was a granddaughter or perhaps, a great-grand daughter. Her life was brief, her birth and death dates are the same.

No memorial page will be created...

On a lighter note,
Safe journey and Merry Christmas to you and yours!

Crawford, Andrew G. and Mariah A.
I am a great grandson of Andrew and Mariah. I am the grandson of their son, Charlie (buried in Coachilla Valley Cemetery). I have located descendants of their sons Frank (also buried in Mt View Cem), William (buried in Minnesota), and John (buried near Corning, CA). I have a lead on the descendants of Jennie (Jennie Crawford Gier Burton, last residence Highland, CA, 1948).

I have studio photos of Andrew and Maria. I see that someone located the photo I have of Andrew and posted it here. That is okay as it is 120 years old. I also have a photo of Andrew in his Civil War Union uniform (artillery jacket and broad-brimmed hat).

If Mariah does not have a headstone, then I will prepare to have one made sometime in the next few years (with her Mayflower descendant medallion incorporated). Andrew's and Mariah's last surviving parents also don't have headstones (all buried in Iowa), so this is all in the planning.

Oh, me. You really didn't have to do that. We are missing a Charles though! I still haven't been able to locate him.

I hope you have a wonder holiday. Take care.
