I came across this website and decided it was a nice way to honor forever those loved ones who have crossed my path of life at some time whether family, friends, co-workers or their families. I have also included quite a bit of information on my family (Rake/Raike & McCane) as it becomes available for genealogy purposes.
If by adding any of your loved ones I have overstepped my bounds or upset you that is not my intent. If you do not like what I have done please let me know and I can delete the information.
Please use the edit button for sending any requests for corrections or transfer.
If you have other loved ones you would like for me to add just send me their information and I will be happy to do so for you.

I did post the picture to the other memorial, But I think it would be nice if you could ASK to post the picture or Request the picture on the other memorial.
You should post your photo of his headstone to the other memorial.
I do not have do no anything, And I do this to help others only, and I am doing the foot work as a cripple and disabled person.

FYI - I believe Mary Rake married William Fleming Jr in 1854. "Krissay" has a memorial for Mary A Fleming (#24690437) - also in Rake Cemetery that I believe is your Mary Rake. Her husband, William Fleming(#24690408)is also buried in Rake Cemetery though his wife is listed as Margaret J West Huntsman Fleming(#24690521) who was his 2nd wife. I hope this is helpful.

This brought tears to my eyes, Greg.
I'm not sure, exactly why I chose to 'Google' my Dad's name, but when I did this site appeared. I couldn't help but smile when I read your name. It's been decades I believe since our paths crossed, I remember it vaguely. Hope you are doing well.
Thanks a million,

Thanks Greg, I made the link.
I found a AP news story from an Oshkosh, Wisconsin newspaper 1921 - It describes what happened at the funeral Would you like it?
