I came across this website and decided it was a nice way to honor forever those loved ones who have crossed my path of life at some time whether family, friends, co-workers or their families. I have also included quite a bit of information on my family (Rake/Raike & McCane) as it becomes available for genealogy purposes.
If by adding any of your loved ones I have overstepped my bounds or upset you that is not my intent. If you do not like what I have done please let me know and I can delete the information.
Please use the edit button for sending any requests for corrections or transfer.
If you have other loved ones you would like for me to add just send me their information and I will be happy to do so for you.
The comment below isn't mine but I saw how true it was within a short time of being on Find A Grave. I copied this to share from another member's site:
I think it is really a shame what findagrave has evolved into. What started as a noble way to link people with graves of loved ones they could never hope to see, and with the generations that had preceded them, has turned into a game for some.
Memorials have turned into a kind of "trading card", a competition of who can own the most memorials and post the highest numbers. What has been forgotten by many is that these are people, loved in life and death, not a commodity to be traded or owned.
My apologies to those that have pure motives. I hope there are more of us than there are of them.
You may use any of my photos for your own personal use or for posting to your tree on Ancestry.com without my expressed consent. You are not permitted to use my photos for commercial usage. If you do use my photos, I appreciate a note crediting me with the photo if you can. If not, no big deal. The whole purpose of posting photos is to breathe life back to the deceased.

I would like to use the photo of John C Hubbell in the next edition of the History of the Hubbell Family

Thanks for adding the great photos,
A memorial is only allowed a total of 5 unless it is sponsored. I plan on adding marker photos in the near future. I want be able to add them unless you remove some of yours. If you need a transfer I will be glad to do so.

Greg, thank you for removing the application for marriage from Marthas memorial. Please remove Peter Miller as her dec'd husband. You have no proof that they were in fact married. I also read Peters bio and it states that he used other names on his other marriage applications as well. Without proof of marriages he may not have married most of these woman. They may have lived together as husband and wife but not been married legally. Thank you

Thanks Greg for transfering Ronnie Kuhn over to me. I really appreciated that, that was nice of you.

I came across a Alice Bauhaus (1906-1979) and a Albert Bauhaus (1905-1987) in First Baptist Cemetery Cape May Court House, NJ. I have already created a memorial for Mrs. Alice Bauhaus but before I made one for Mr. Albert Bauhaus I wanted to make sure that he was not the same gentleman already represented in your memorial. If you have any further information that could possibly link these two Albert Bauhaus' together or if you know they are not the same I would appreciate the information so I do not form a duplicate memorial.

Thank you so much for adding the photos to the Hood memorials in Rush County. What a wonderful surprise! Jacob and Grace (Terhune) Hood were my Great Uncle and Aunt. When growing up, my parents would take my sister and me to visit them. We would also visit Grace's sister, Emma Terhune. Wonderful memories!
If you have any other photos of the family, would you mind sharing them? My email is firstname.lastname@example.org.
