|Please understand that it is my quest to find ancestors and be as effective a historian, or custodian of their memory, as possible in an effort to preserve what I can. Please contact me if you have or know of additional details or the ever sought-after photos and documents!|
Information has been carefully researched and transcribed. Needless to say, there is always an incomplete picture; new facts are discovered and additions must be made or a need for corrections arises. For example, information, such as birthdates, that have been calculated from headstone engravings (which is not the most accurate means).
Please do not hesitate to contact me. The goal is again to be as complete and accurate to the history and memory of all. Any assistance is appreciated!
Most of my efforts currently center on the southern portions of Trumbull County and the northern portion of Mahoning County; specifically the North Jackson township area and its many neighbors.
It is important to note that Mahoning County Ohio was formed from parts of Trumbull and Columbiana Counties Ohio on March 1, 1846 so any dates prior to that are actually found in their respective County records.

Thank you for creating and updating Mary's memorial. I also appreciate the links that you've created to connect her to her family. Mary was my g-grandmother's sister.
All the best,

Thank you for your contribution to Find A Grave. This is a great site that puts a physical and tangible aspect to our family histories. I would like to ask if you would consider transferring L. (Lewis) Jackson Bickel #63997873, and Katherine W. (Wilhelmina) Bickel #63997872 to me. They are my great grandparents. I would like to write bios and link some family connections. They had 10 children, who are all gone now, so there are a lot of family members who may benefit from these memorials.

I think some information on her death certificate could be inaccurate...I believe her father John was born in PA and her mother was Mary Sidels born in PA. You do mention in your note that her obituary states her interment is in Oaklawn Mausoleum. Do you have a copy of her obituary? I would be very interested in seeing it. Find a Grave # 63933513

I have finished photographing Jackson Cemetery. I've been asked by a member of our local O.G.S to complete all cemeteries in Jackson for the purpose of publishing a Tombstones of North Jackson book. It will take some time to accomplish this but when it's complete I'd like permission to give credit to you for your contribution to the cemetery.
I started taking images in the Fall of 2010. I have cleaned and photographed the entire cemetery. It is my goal to make Jackson a place where information is available for those who search for their ancestors.

You might want to add one of my ancestors to your Mahoning county revolutionary war veterans
He is Baranabus Ford, buried in Poling township. He fought with the Pennsylvania Militia
Thank you for your information so kind of you, for taking your time with this matter..
Hi, I am doing some work on the Thomas Family here in Hancock co Ohio. Came across a daughter of Lindsey Orlen and Sarah Jane (Williams) Phillips. but when I found them they already had a daughter Isabelle born the year before. Just had to wonder if one of us have the wrong Isabelle linked to the wrong parents...

I have been to the location three times.Once in the rain. I walked through fields of tall grass and wetlands. A friend of mine was there years ago and gave me info on where to look. I will go back this summer for another search. Apparently this is one grave with two names on stone. I will give the info you provided to my friend who often searches with me. Maybe he will be able to figure out your directions. Thank you for transferring Charles Fry. I have sent it back to you.
