Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hi!

A little about me...I'm a amateur photographer/genealogist/findagraver as well as an extremely proud mommy to six children (3 girls/3boys) and 16 grandchildren! :) I've been working on my own family tree since about 1994...not long after my Grama passed away...she raised me and so I do occasionally refer to her as my Mommy. Family that I am working on are Sanders, Denny/Denney, Cummins, Daglish, McCord, Heater, Galbreath and Lobb. I live with my best Ed as I call him! and our doggie, Jettie. I found Findagrave while researching our family and have been a die hard "Graver" since!

Update: Married my best friend, My Ed, Oct 3, 2014 and am now officially a "new" person lol

PLEASE If you want to request a transfer or updates to memorials do that through the "edit" tab/suggest a correction!!!! When I have many many many edits/transfers/messages to read and answer it gets frustrating to have to look up the memorials for each request when if done correctly I can just click on the link included with the suggestion/edit...quicker for me to get it done for you :) :)

If someone has an issue with any memorial I am involved with please be polite and adult and send a note through the SAC feature and I'll gladly do whatever I can to make you happy! Leave me a rude hateful message and I'll first delete it and then forget about it. That way I'm returning the favor!

From Find A Grave's FAQ...
"The ultimate goal should be to have meaningful, accurate memorials that honor those who have passed away, regardless of who created the memorial or who maintains it."

I have no problem whatsoever doing any updates or links to my memorials and definitely will transfer if I'm not related and you have a direct connection.
I love being able to link up entire families as far back or forward as possible!!! It's like a big puzzle and I also love puzzles :) It gives me a great feeling to get one done! I always try to find a little information to add to the memorials that I create so that it is more than the mere fact that someone was born and they died. Sometimes I'm unsuccessful but believe me I usually spend some time searching before I give up! Stubborness I guess lol.
If I ever add a picture to a memorial that you would rather I didn't please let me know but I prefer to hear from the "manager" of the memorial.

Thank you Colleen. I was amazed to see all the stones against the tree. When I visted the Cemetery back in 2002, there was only one or two. Thank you.

hey cuz.....just accepted your friend request on FB. Oh we are so messed up....And this is just my immediate family...imagine what I can find sifting through my ancestors!

here it goes..

my uncle is my step Dad

my cousin is my half-sister (your blood cousin)
her sister is my cousin and my step-sister (of course, we don't refer to them as such...we are all just sisters!) cousin grew up with us until she was 16 so sister she is!

I raised(helped raise) 3 of my grandchildren from the same daughter.

The first was a girl from ages 1-9;

the second was a set of twins (boy & girl) from 7 mos till almost 2 years, the boy passed away and we adopted the little girl. Boy does it get confusing.

-She is legally her mom's sister.
-her Aunt's sister (my other daughter)
- her cousins Aunt (other dau son)
- her brother's Aunt (yep, her mom had another child)

And to top that off we live in the same school district my girls went to school in so they all know us. Gets confusing on when/if to call her my daughter. She sees her mom on a regular basis so I am sure it gets confusing for her at times.

She has settled on calling me Nana and calling my husband Daddy. Makes sense to her since her Dad isn't in the pic and her Mom is.

we got our own little peyton place going on but as I attempt to travel the family tree....i figure we all have a little of this going on!

Zachary Family
Now this is really strange...I think you also know my cousin Zach Zachary, who passed away recently. I noticed you sent me a beautiful msg about him and that you left a flower on his memorial.

Zach's father, Donald Ray Zachary is my mother, Peggy Evalene (Zachary) McCord's brother.

The same Peggy McCord who I mentioned in the earlier post as being related to you through Leslie Leo McCord.

WOW! It is a small world!

RE: McCord Family
your right my line comes from Samuel to John - well how cool is that - here we been working together through find a grave for a couple years and didn't realize it.

Actually-we are not really blood related because my father is Howard Wagner Jr, eldest son of Mary Ann (Shrock) McCord and even though Virgil McCord raised him - and he called him DAD, he never adopted him. We have always considered Virgil our grandpa.

You are however blood related to my sister Lena. Her parents are Leslie Leo & Peggy Evalene (Zachary) McCord, son of Virgil & Mary (Shrock) McCord (who is my Dad's half brother and my Uncle/Step-dad) My Dad's half brother married my mom.

How's that for a soap opera!

Long story short as far as I am concerned we are cousins....depends on how you look at it.

My line goes through Brittain Teelon Sanders 124052848 who was out of NC. That is as far back as I've got. Could've been a brother or cousin to yours?????

RE: Blackburn/Kimmer
Thanks! I have found it. They were in an accident on I-77 in NC where they were rear-ended by a semi. They were in a mini-van that burst into sad~~
Saw that you were a Sanders....thought you might be related, but can find no connection. Mine are in GA, TX, AR. If we are, it would be very distant!
Best regards,
