Common sense and courtesy 'tips the scale' that a person should ask permission to reuse another person's work and you should include a credit by-line if that work is not YOUR original creation! Thank you Robertt John Chudek for letting me use this from your Bio.|
I am happy to transfer people not related but please do not ask me to transfer everyone in a cemetery because you want control or everyone who is related to you. Please state relationship.
I only add information when you send it through the edit in the upper right hand corner of the memorial.
A love for family history started when my 6th grade teacher asked us to make a family tree.
I talked to my grandparents and wrote letters.
Then one of my Great Aunt's decided to do a book on her side of the family. This ended up in 4 books.
An Aunt and I decided to go visit cemetery's and look into old records. It has been fun to get more pieces of the puzzle.
Pictures are so much more fun than just names. Thank you to those of you who have added pictures and stories.
Several years ago when my younger sister than about age 10 went with me to the old Tinkham cemetery in Indiana and she said,"Doesn't anyone love these people anymore." No one they knew was living, we were their closest relatives.
Thank you to all of you who have worked so hard and gathered so much information. Thank you for the many corrections and additions.
Thank you to the many wonderful volunteers. There will always be the few where everything is "all about me" .
Pictures are all copyrighted and are from the family collection. You may use them but please list source.

I've been linking my Czech families & see you host my great uncle Frank Falteisek's memorial too. That's my other side of the family. On my dad's side, over 85% of those buried in St. Martin's Cemetery in Cherma or those with Cherma or Cermna (Čermná) roots are my cousins/ancestors. Are we related or have common roots? Thanks again for all your work on findagrave. Chris

Thank you for all your hard work on findagrave. I am amazed at all your hard work & the number of memorials you have completed & maintain. I am related to over half of the people in Stockholm, Lund & Pepin and have done research on them for almost 40 years. If I can be of any assistance, please let me know. Chris

No problem. I find your records that you entered all over the county. I'm about half done with Maple Grove so more edits will be coming and also I'm putting up photographs. You are the 'buzz' of the local historical and genealogical communities here as you've done so much work on this site, but no one is exactly sure who you are at least that I know.

I am going through Maple Grove systematically now and adding editing etc. I am not having luck that this Kellie Walton actually responding but I know she is there cause she deletes my messages. I am adding mostly new ones for her unknown unknown in Maple Grove per Find a grave suggestion. they made a few edits through her listings. I am making new ones if they are not linked to anything which most are not then they are going to edit her's or maybe delete them and have mine hopefully. this is my understanding. I am sending edits to yours. thank you for being accepting and such of so many edits as I know you have many pages in the cemeteries I am working on. I finished the prelimary going through of Prescott's Pine Glen by just using my notes and the photos I took. - Dan

Wanda, I do not mean to overwhelm you with edits, but I feel if there is a memorial here on this site it should be as complete as possible. Every edit I've sent you has been verified. Would love to talk to you on the phone some time. You seem to have a passion for Pierce County Genealogy as well. - Dan
well she could be linked or a suggested edit could be made that she is her mother. she was linked as Hayward Haight's wife's mother which is incorrect.

Hi thanks for all your postings to Find A Grave! Always appreciate finding a long lost relative that can be linked to family members so they are not forgotten.
On the memorial page for Mary Traun #96220681
you have posted a photo of the wrong Mary Traun. The photo you have posted is of the Mary Traun who died in 2010, somehow related I'm sure, but not quite the right one, would appreciate if you could remove. The same photo is on the other Mary's page also.
Thanks so much again!

You're welcome. And thank you for doing the edits and links for many of them in Plum City.

Thank you "WJH" for the editing and for the linking which connected a child with her parents. Now, more children to be located. Best Wishes.
