Bio and Links
Bio Photo Common sense and courtesy 'tips the scale' that a person should ask permission to reuse another person's work and you should include a credit by-line if that work is not YOUR original creation! Thank you Robertt John Chudek for letting me use this from your Bio.

I am happy to transfer people not related but please do not ask me to transfer everyone in a cemetery because you want control or everyone who is related to you. Please state relationship.

I only add information when you send it through the edit in the upper right hand corner of the memorial.
Please include your # if you want a transfer!
Thank you.

A love for family history started when my 6th grade teacher asked us to make a family tree.
I talked to my grandparents and wrote letters.
Then one of my Great Aunt's decided to do a book on her side of the family. This ended up in 4 books.
An Aunt and I decided to go visit cemetery's and look into old records. It has been fun to get more pieces of the puzzle.

Pictures are so much more fun than just names. Thank you to those of you who have added pictures and stories.

Several years ago when my younger sister than about age 10 went with me to the old Tinkham cemetery in Indiana and she said,"Doesn't anyone love these people anymore." No one they knew was living, we were their closest relatives.

Thank you to all of you who have worked so hard and gathered so much information. Thank you for the many corrections and additions.

Thank you to the many wonderful volunteers. There will always be the few where everything is "all about me" .

Pictures are all copyrighted and are from the family collection. You may use them but please list source.

I had gone to the North Rush River Cemetery today and talked to the lady in the office and she looked in the books and Arnold isn't buried in that cemetery at all.

RE: Yes
The whole cemetery? That is crazy!! And yes, definitely a power trip and female dog! Crazy how some people act but what can you do. Sad thing is, I'm the one that connected the 3 family members together. She hadn't even done that or put work into connecting them for researchers. Oh well...

RE: Thank you
I completely agree! I think obituaries add a lot! That's why when I get papers like this I keep an eye out for pieces of information such as obits or birthday celebrations that can add some character to a person for people that are looking! And yes, the one before me...........I requested 3 people be transferred. She seems to be in charge of the whole cemetery so guessed her not to be a relation. The requested are my direct grandparents 4x back and one of their daughters that passed away young without a family. Thought I could take it over and do research on them. So much easier to research when they are right at my finger tips on here. But I requested one time and received the one message on there. Requested a 2nd time with more details because I thought that was what she had said no for and received another reply. So finally this morning I responded quite negatively which isn't my usual style and received the message you saw. Frustrating!

Thomas McMoran
Hey!! How have you been? Sorry I haven't emailed you back. Been so obsessed with my research! :-) Anyhow, while going through my documents for family members that I had ordered from the archives, I found an obituary fro Thomas McMoran. I submitted an edit to you for that. I will try to post a picture of the obituary later today for this memorial page. He was buried in Evergreen Cemetery in Dunn County.

RE: Interesting
That would be your decision. At this time, we have only the tombstone to go by.

That is the only Leonard V. Halvorson in the Martell Methodist Cemetery who has a stone that we found.

RE: Thank you
You are very welcome. I am happy to help out. I am trying to fill in the Binford, ND Cemetery as best I can and when I find other obits in the Sentinel-Courier and can find the cemeteries I send them on.

RE: Thank you
I am SO sorry! I used my iPad to take the photos, and often it will turn photos upside down. Ugh! I think I've fixed it. Now I have about 40 others to do. Sorry about that!
