Her passion was genealogy, she loved it! For years my mother researched; wrote letters; purchased b/m/d certificates. She was known as a great genealogists by our entire family. The computer was intimidating to her, but daddy always said "There's never been a computer built that could match your mamma's memory." He was right! We kids thought her passion for the dead was silly. Then when my mother-in-law passed away, I realized that my husband's family history went to the grave with her. I started searching for info on my grandfather & an uncle...I got hooked, BIG TIME! Needless to say, mother was thrilled that I was finally interested in genealogy. We'd talk for hours on the phone about this one & that one. Mother wanted me to get everything she had gleaned, entered on the computer. Then 2 months ago I found this website & started entering everyone's data. I'd print the pages & mail them to mother for her proofing & approval. I never dreamed that just two months later I'd be memorializing my mother here. What little bit of work I'd done on FAG before mother passed away was rewarding. However, I found it healing to enter her biography & honor her memory. I'd be thrilled to have you visit my mother's (Wynona Thomas) memorial. Thank you, FAG for this forum to honor our loved ones. In the 2 months I've been entering data here, I've had several volunteers take photos of my loved one's tombstones & share them with me. Thank you all for this wonderful gift. If I can assist anyone with photos, please let me know.

PLEASE do not copy or upload my photos to any other websites. Its copyright infringement, and I do not want my volunteer work given to any for profit sites.
