I appreciate everyone who has emailed me thanking me for locating the graves of their relatives/ancestors.|
Recently, I have had increasing requests to place newspaper obits on my memorials. I have contacted Findagrave to ask them their policy about this. They replied that I should obtain permission from the copyright holder of the obits before adding them to my memorials. So, in order to fully abide by Findagrave's rules, I will no longer be adding newspaper obits to my memorials. Please contact Findagrave if you have any questions. Thank you.

I understand your posting about not publishing the newspaper obits; however, if they are transcribed, can you add the family information contained in them to supplement the memorial? I have found a obituary for Thomas Francies in the Kentucky Irish American (Louisville, KY) of 11/11/1916 and it contains names of the wife and all the children. I am not sure how you would get permission of a newspaper that has long since gone out of business. I am attaching a link, if you want to take a look at it. It is in the center column.

I agree with you! I'm sure the marker at Resthaven was a comfort to his family. There are probably many soldiers who are buried overseas where they died and the family has no access to their grave. Linking both sites lets everyone see the memorial to Rommie at Resthaven and his grave in France. I was really touched by the Resthaven site, even more so after I found out the rest of the story.

You're Welcome! Thanks so much for the family link for Kenneth Philpott. I enjoy it when pictures are added. Thanks again for contacting me with the information on Kenneth.

Thank you for the information on son of Gillie Ann (Taylor) Philpott. I added a memorial for Kenneth Edward Philpott and linked him to his parents. I must have come across his parents when I was linking some of my family members that branched out and thought they needed to be added on ancestry. Evidently this family was linked to another family member of mine but I am not related to this family.
Sorry, I found the middle name verification in his sons obit. I've added the info. Thanks

Hello, sorry for the delay in a reply. Since you have an interest in the Earp family I will transfer the memorial to you. I used to volunteer for the City Cemetery and noticed that he did not have a memorial on FindaGrave. He did ride with the other Earps, but I don't know too much about him. I just have been trying to make sure the memorials for the City Cemetery are correct. Thank you!
