I became a member to add the actual location of my father and step mother's grave site. My family and I currently live in Mound, Mn. My wife Ericka and our son Connor will visit my mother, father, step father, step-mother's and others at thier final resting place at Lakewood Cemetery in Minneapolis. We also visit Aunt Sally (Sara), Uncle Ron, and grandparents, Ruth and Jack. It seems that the only way to relieve some of the sadness of having a parent or family member who's left us is by spending time near their final resting place, remembering them. Honoring them. It gives us peace, gratitude and serenity. This site helps while we're at home and unable to visit. It also adds perspective to our own lives as well as viewing our families history.
