Most of these memorials are based on personal research from my family history (birth, death, marriage, military & other records). Other information was taken from grave markers or obituaries that I've discovered over the years. Cannot guarantee the accuracy of all these memorials, but believe most of them to be correct.
Will be glad to make memorial transfers upon request that is if related. Would very much like to hear from you and should you have any additional information and if there are any corrections to be made, please let me know.

|Roy Goodloe||Robert Goodloe - NC Militia|
If you look up Robert Goodloe (1741-1797) in the WILLIAM GOODLOE CEMETERY in Richmond, KY (Madison County) there is a memorial from you because he was a captain in the NC militia during the revolutionary war. I thought your message was blocking me. There is an old outstanding photo request from me that no one has responded to. That is what blocked me from making another request. Sorry I thought your memorial blocked me. I met a fellow with the SAR (Sons of the American Revolution) this weekend so they should have a member in that area that could assist.
|Christopher Veltmann||RE: St John Baptist Church|
The Church of St. John the Baptist, is a parish church in the Church of England located near Northwood, Isle of Wight, VA. . The church is situated to the east of the main Newport to Cowes road, approximately 400m south of the village in Chawton Lane. The church is medieval. Started in the mid 1600’s. The mid-19th century saw extensive restoration work carried out on the church. In 1864 the wooden tower and dormer window were both swept away. The restoration was completed in 1874. Despite this restoration work, the church still retains many of its original features including a Norman arch over the south doorway and a Jacobean pulpit. Somewhere in the grave yard Thomas Joyner ~II 1619-1694 and his wife Sarah “Edwards” (Sallie) Joyner 1622-1694 are buried.
As for the info attached to the church picture
Thomas Joyner Royal Oak Inn Operational since 1644, owned and operated by the Joyner family from 1654 until 1705 ( I have pictures m but they will not attach here.)

|P. L. Chandler||Mary Campbell Lawson|
Hi! I noticed you have changed the memorial for my GGGgrandmother, Mary Campbell Lawson. Since this is my memorial, I did not know this was possible. However, I believe you have the wrong information (according to all of the Lawson researchers).
Would you mind telling me how you came to the conclusions that you entered on the memorial as well as your sources? Mary Campbell has been our brick wall for many years, and no one has been able to prove her parents, etc.
Would appreciate your contacting me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
|blueglass||RE: Sarah Naill ... 2nd gr gm|
There is a story in my family of two little girls who were raised in my great grandfather, Nathan Hymiller and his wife Elizabeth Ann Warner Hymiller's home. They were Elsie I Naill born 1893 and Elizabeth M Naill born 1896.
So the story goes, their parents, I am told, were Sarah A Warner (1862-1949)(80822637), who was a sister to Elizabeth Ann Warner, and John May Naill (-1940) (80822489). My grandmother spoke of the two girls often, and she said that Elizabeth was always called Bessie. Susannah Fisher Warner and John A Warner are the parents of Sarah A and Eliabeth Ann Warner.
But indeed you are correct Sarah Naill did marry John Hape SR. This Sarah (1803-1889)is buried in (31548110)Georgia. John Hape SR (1798-1868)(31674652).
The Naills were well known in Maryland and are indeed related to the Georgia Naills.
I hope this helps to clear things up.

|Glenice Norton||William Harper|
I found the cemetery records while searching for William Harper. I have access to the DAR records because I am a member. Those records show that William Harper and Mary Ingram also had a son named Wyatt Harper who married Ruth Choice. I suppose that explains why they are buried in the Choice Family Cemetery.
My search has been for the parents of John Peterson Harper. I believe William Harper is his brother. John P. Harper lived in Elbert County, Georgia and died there, but he was born in Dinwiddie County, VA.
If you are interested in corresponding, you can contact me at email@example.com
I hope this helps in your research
|3987VB||Connection to the HARPER Clan|
Yes, I am related to several HARPERs including DNA connections going back beyond Castleton Harper, Sr and allied families including: Nimmo, White, Bonner,Martin and Harris.
In working with another seasoned researcher cousin, we are attempting to prove the connection between Osborne (Osbern,Osburn,Osborn) Jefferson Harris bca 1805 SC/GA d aft 1880 AL.
We are closing in that one of Osborn's 3-4 wives was Mary "Polly" White Harper, d/o Richard Harper Jr & Elizabeth B White.
Harris family allied names include Gaines, Tate, Tinsley, Smith, Rasco, Dabney, Overton, Glenn. We are missing the generation of Osborne's parents and believe there is a relationshp with Tryon/Trion Harris and Sarah Caroline Tinsley.
DNA proof on this line is with Christopher J Harris, Jr & his parents/siblings Christopher Overton Harris, Sr & Mary Elizabeth Dabney.
I've seen your postings over the years and know we are linked somehow...just plugging away to see where that final connection is. Do you have your DNA results? Where is your Harper connection and do you have any Harris in your line?

|3987VB||RE: John Harper ~ Memorial #41994752|
Oh boy is my face red! Yep, you are absolutely correct, his middle name was not Putnam. I checked after your message and found my error! Seems I have a large document (happy to share with you) shared by another researcher that lists this HARPER branch in census, will, military, biography & family records. He is listed on the 1820 GA Fed Census records as are other Harper & allied family members.
Needless to say, I took the word next to his name as his middle name when in fact it was Putnam for Putnam Co, GA (it was repeated in other info as well)-argh! So thanks for catching that and asking for confirmation...normally am so very careful and plain slipped up on this one.
My connection in the next message.

|Mary ||William Hancock|
Georgia Girl, I visited the library of Randolph-Macon college to see the family Bible of William Hancock and was told the Bible was not there nor had it ever been and that at least every three months folks come there looking for this Bible. I think this should be correct. In my case I traveled from S>C> to see it.
