I am from Houston Texas. I am a wife of 35 years to my best friend. My life with John is a enchanted journey through time. We were meant to be with each other he says. It is true. I cant imagine going thorugh life without my special man. I am a mom of 2 beautiful daughters. I found this site by accident. When looking up information on Louise Beavers an actress in Imitation of Life, I ran across it. I discovered members of my family my grandparents Elwin Handley, Sadie Handley , and my Uncle jr. The name Coleman, Jackson,Handley were my ancestors. The name Buoy is my husbands side. I began adding other family history and a few friends and people who I have known or have been part of my life, Thank you for any notes you leave, I spend much time here because as long as we remember they are with us. My in-laws William and Mary Buoy. my maiden name Jackson. so many wonderful memories.9-27-06 I have realized how wonderful Kyu "Kyu-chan" Sakamoto sang his famous song Sukiyaki. What a beautiful song. He was born Nov 10, 1941 and passed august 12, 1985I love old movies.. I love music (oldies) I love my family, and I really enjoy the nice people I have met here.I try to put a flower on any (BUOY) name I find. I am very interested in my husband family-ancestors. Or anyone who might be.a personal note to anna, I never got to meet you but I will hold you in my heart forever.

Richard Cowsill I have noticed that you left flowers for one of the Cowsills. Richard Cowsill of the famous Cowsill singing family now has a memorial on Find-A-Grave. His memorial is # 134960022. Would you leave a frame rating?? Thanks Howard
Shirley Ruth Coleman Markham It would be good if you asked your mom where Shirley is for certain. I had the cemetery staff look for her under the names Markham, Coleman, and Jackson, and they came up empty.
Alexandria Memorial Gardens has around 10-12,000 burials, and the stones are flat, so it's not easy to just find somebody there by chance (though I have).
Please let me know, and maybe I can find her for you, but Alex Memorial is 50+ miles from me, and Big Creek is around 65, so a pretty good drive to make to come up empty handed.
RE: Our dads You're welcome Vicki. That's a beautiful message you left for him. He will always be in your heart. Hold him close on those days that get a little rough. That's what I do when I have those days that I really miss my dad. I have a picture of him that I had made into a necklace. I wear it everyday. It keeps me close to him. That's something you may want to consider doing. It helps me.
Oh my goodness Vicki. Honey, I'm so sorry. I can only imagine what you're going through. You and your family are in my prayers. I know it's easy for me to say but stay strong. My heart ached for you when I saw your message. Let me know how you're doing and please take care of yourself. Remember, you was my very first Find A Grave friend and I will always cherish that you was the first one that reached out to me seven years ago.
Buoy and Thompsons Hello I am working on the Thompson line :) and to day I am working on Lizze aka Elizabeth Scarborough Thompson. I have a dear friend here in Oregon and she would have been his great aunt. I wonder is there any one in the family that may have photo of Lizze and or any of her family members? My friend will be 91 this year. Happy to have found you too.
