Bio Photo I'm a "Taphophile" from way back. I like nothing better than wandering around old cemeteries on an afternoon. I've recently begun trying to find all of the cemeteries in the North Metro Atlanta area(Check out,-84.424438&spn=1.12091,1.766052&z=9). I recently found an old African-American cemetery that has been almost completely swallowed by a forest. It's been really rewarding to find cemeteries that have obviously been completely forgotten by society.

RE: Wheeler Cemetery
Thank you Barry Smith! Oh, my, but I think the one we are looking for might be the J B Wheeler Family Cemetery, and the note on it says it is right in the middle of a horse farm complex. How would I get more information? How could I contact them to find out: are the grave sites still intact, did they move the graves? The person I am looking for, Willis Cass Tucker, was buried right by James "Bill" Wheeler and Wheeler's wife and daughter, on what used to be Willis Cass's property. Do you have the name of the horse complex? Are you anywhere close enough to drive there and get any pictures? Oh, I don't know whether to cry or not...Thank you so much for any help you can give me. Solomon Walker Peek 1771-1858
Mr. Smith,
I've been told Solomon Walker Peek is buried at Boiling Springs Primitive Baptist Church. His son is buried there you photographed that grave #52584957
Can you tell me if his parents are buried there as well? He was a Preacher and found many churches in that area. I'd be grateful if you can let me know. He was my 5th great grandfather on my father's side.
