Many questions are answered in Find a Grave's site rules FAQ. In keeping with those rules, I do not list names of survivors likely to be living or add family links to "burial unknown" memorials.
** "Non-cemetery" designation should never be used for burials that can't be found. If you can't find it, it's a "burial unknown" which should be deleted if not found within 30 days of creating the memorial.
** Always verify information found on this or any other website. Errors abound.

It is believed William Parker is the brother of Dempsey Parker. I am a direct ancestor of Dempsey Parker. I have picked up a lot of your pictures giving you the credit and appreciate ALL of your work! I, too like you want what is posted to be correct. Let me know exactly what changes and/or additions and/or deletions I have made and I will check my research on ancestry.com as well as get back to you. I have researched many times down in TN within Sumner, Trousdale, Smith, and Macon Counties and have never been to the Parker Family Cemetery in Bethpage, Sumner, TN but am sure I was close to it. My cousin/I found the Barr Cemetery out there where Dempsey Parker's daughter-in-law was buried. It was a most difficult over grown not kept cemetery to find but with the help of the Sumner County Archives pointing us in the right direction we found it. I was able to take pictures of the entire cemetery whose stones were readable and post them onto Find A Grave. Mrs. James Gilbert Parker was the only Parker found in that cemetery. Also, none of maiden name family members were not there either. Now I am wondering why she was not buried in the Parker Family Cemetery???

Thomas is my great great great uncle. The family story is that he was living with his daughter Laura at the time of his death and according family, "He is buried in the same place where Laura is" I have included on his memorial that he is "believed" to be buried here.
