...I am a belgian living in the Verdun area of France , I live about 10 minutes from the Romagne sous Montfaucon cemetery of Lorraine --

I just finished taking pictures in the Meuse Argonne cemetery , and will continue in Hamm luxembourg ---Once finished I intend to go to Saint Mihiel , St Avold and Belleau -to take pictures of all the markers there ... I try to do the smaller british cemeteries on my way through France and Belgium ..

Sometimes adding a complete graveyard isn t possible , as often there are headstones missing due to replacement or the stones are in very bad condition and cannot be read ---but I always try to get them done as complete as possible , so please forgive me if sometimes a few pictures are missing --because it isn t always possible to do a return journey .

Sorry to have to ask, but...
***Please don't take my photos and claim them as your own work***

Allow me to post them.
and please don t add more names in the Meuse Argonne site , all the names are there-

Thank you for providing a photo of PVT Guilio Gonnello's stone cross and cemetery location in France. I hope to learn more about this long lost relative.

RE: Little Salamon Lerma
Thank you my Sister,

And if they (the cemetery) have any other information please share it with me. I went to South Texas in the spring and could not locate any other family for him. Only recently did I find what was on his Wiki Page written by my Aunt in an unpublished article about my uncle, Col. Sam Robertson.

I went ahead and used one of your photo's and gave you the credit! Thank you so much. I've looked for Little Salamon so long! So many ways to spell such a simple name! I am so hoping you will be interested in his story. It was almost lost. Are there many other civilians buried there?

If you disapprove of the use of the pic I can remove it- but I wanted to honor your effort.

Harry (Henry) Blooman
Thankyou so much for adding a photo of my Great Uncle.Grave marker ..we have a black and white photo taken of a wooden cross with 3 metal tags, showing the grave of Harry and 2 others which the Australian Forces supplied to his mother (which was in the papers of my grandmother Henry or Harry sister)This was presumably taken a few days after he died in 1917.. however it is so small you cant read the tags..it has been written on the back of the photo as the grave of Henry Blooman...
Anyhow , it is comforting to see the grave stone...especially as we found out , Henry was the first of our family to emigrate to Australia in 1911, and we "followed" in 1974 !!
Thanks again..Geoff Steel
